Vibrant, flamboyant panting of the colorful homes and harbours found in the Atlantic Canada provinces and in the Maine, New England areas. I spent many vacations with my family in these beautiful quarters and there is something so heart warming about the architecture, harbours, the many seaside shops, cafes, and restaurants; and of course the beautiful ocean and all the fishing boats and seagulls. It reminds me of summer and the way it should be.

Ive been waiting and waiting to get this particular shot. I wanted the fog so thick the light’s beams would be the only thing coming down over the bike trail located here in Townsend. Many nights I have gone to check out the fog. We finally had some good fog night before last, so off I go, only to realize the light wont exactly shine as I have it pictured in my mind due to the way the light shade is built. So I am settling for this shot. Who knows maybe with thicker fog I can eventually get that shot I have been waiting for. Shot this in Manual Mode set on the Bulb setting. / Fstop set at F 6.3 / Focal Length at 80mm / Exposure time was at 1 sec / ISO was set at 200 / Exposure comp set at 0

Another shot made last fall while visiting my favourite place in my hometown, one crisp and sunny morning. This is the parc de la Promenade in Candiac, Quebec, and I thought that the clouds reflected in the calm waters of the St. Lawrence river looked like a puffy double-edged lace. We can see the faint outline of Montreal at far right. Focal length 24mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/320 sec. Last night I went to the Airpower Over Hampton Roads Airshow. I stopped near a parking lot at the end of the runway, and was treated to the return of four F-15E Strike Eagle pilots. As they walked towards us, they asked us how they looked and if their 4 ship formation was nice and tight. They then joked that this pictured pilot here, was probably way off the mark, I even commented that I didn’t get his plane in even with THAT lens. It was fun to see the human aspect of an airshow, and having a laugh with these hometown heros. I can’t believe how young these “kids” looked.
