BUY THIS CARD AND FEEL GOOD FOR WEEKS! Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. 3393 views / 125 favouritings / 166 comments / 4 sales C’mon Guys and Girls buy a baby today!! • Welcome Home Henrietta
    by edwardfish

    US$4.16–US$95.00

June 26th How excited I am! Tomorrow is my birthday, and my sisters have told me that Papa will be arriving first thing, and that he has a very special treat in store for me. Naturally since learning of this, I have been at pains to discover what awaits me. Yet to my utter dismay, when I try to interrogate my sisters , they will only say that they are sworn to secrecy, then glance at one another and burst into infuriating giggles. I feel that if I am to succeed in my endeavour to extract the necessary information before morning, I must first get to each of them separately, then use all the cunning and ingenuity inherited from my beloved father. What springs immediately to mind, is to adopt the guile of one of Nature’s predators and pursue the weaker of the pack. Knowing as I do of Audrey’s great fondness for fruit bonbons, I shall arm myself with said items, and make my way to her bedchamber this very evening. Let us see how long her lips remain sealed when such delightful confection is offered in exchange for her secrets!

  • drawing down the moon
    by Rosemary Scott

    US$4.83–US$110.20

For some reason I always find myself drawn to the moon in my greatest times of adversity…. seeking solace in the Mother Goddess maybe….. perhaps some ritual remnant of pagan ancestors….. Either way, it soothes me. The ritual known as Drawing Down the Moon is the Wiccan/pagan ritual of drawing the spirit of the Goddess/moon into the practitioner to enable the Goddess to speak directly through this person. / It is a very sacred ritual amongst followers of this faith. Featured in Witches, Wizards and Warlocks, March 2009 Featured in First Things Group, April 2009 Top Ten Finish – First Things Group Challenge – It Must be Magic! – April 2009 Background : UmbraDeNoapte / Model : the very beautiful Jodi by FantasyStock / Moon : mabaxter / Texture : SheisprettyStock / Tattoo : Artists own : Big thanks to my ever patient Husband for taking the shot.

  • War at Home
    by Thomas Akers

    US$4.43–US$101.08

The scene is a small town in the mountains of Virginia, an area that has historically given a disproportionate sacrifice in the nation’s wars but suffers its share of the nation’s wealth. Bedford is nearby. It is the current time and there is a “Support Our Troops” sign taped in the window of a long closed business. December’s sun echos the contrasting theme in the strong lights and shadows thrown across flaking paint and rotting snow. An old man clearing the street speaks to youth’s absence from this scene. Yet it features endurance and hope also; life carries on. The building promises an occupant, as the sunlight and bare tree promise a spring and those at home do what they must and abide. 24×28” acrylic on linen covered wood.
