I love the different textures and colors this little bud had… it has the same colors as a peacock feather! This was taken with a sigma 105mm macro lens, the bud was tiny about the size of my pinky nail.

I took this shot with one of my first cameras. A Kodak c633 point and shoot. This farm is outside my home town Stettler on a September morning. It’s a beautiful scene. So calmn and quiet. You can really take the time to absorb the vastness of Canadas prairies. Too bad it’s only once a year. “Alberta Farm” was featured in The Fabulous Prairies
