Just a pun on the title. Taken when my husband and myself took a brief excursion to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Saw this beautiful house sitting so lonely but stately looking along the shoreline. Couldn’t resist.
It is a sewn welcoming sign of pigs in a pig sty with the quote “If you came to see me…THAT’S GREAT! If you came to see my house, please make an appointment.”

This is a historic home in the Smokey Mountain National Park in Tennessee. There are 2 rooms in the home, a bedroom and a living/kitchen room. Such simple living conditions.
This was taken… probably 2 years ago after a short hike around my then-current house. Nothing special really, although I’ve always liked this and have managed to sell more prints of this than any other image. enjoy..?

Algiers, New Orleans. / I tend to avoid, for aesthetic purposes, direct symmetrical shots. But this house felt best photographed against all photographic rules, and I’m really pleased with the result. The colours are especially captivating. Gotta love New Orleans style!
