Taken on the northern end of main beach at the Spit, Gold Coast Australia. This pier carries a large pipe out to sea, sand is pumped from the Broadwater to keep the channels clear for boats. Exposure time: 1/640s / Aperture value: f4.0 / Shutterspeed: 1/621s

as you climb up to the top of the dunes the Atlantic sits before our eyes – and today most importantly we have colour!! We were a tad disappointed to miss the tide (again) but with a little exploration of the rock pools and some much needed sea water to the feet we managed to watch the waves come rolling in!
