Welcome to Hong Kong International Airport. I took this shot from departure Terminal 1. Sometimes Hong Kong’s hazy air can work towards the advantage of the photographer. I love silhouette shots =) / - – - / This is an opening cover to a series of overseas shots ranging from exotic Malaysia right through to the busy streets of Hong Kong. Watch out for more to come! certain area’s of Ladakh where formerly closed to foreigners because of their strategic position to international borders but did open in 2001 and we managed to get a permit for 7 days and where only allowed to visit 2 of the 5 villages. Drok-pa are one of the purest Aryan races of Ladakh. They are Buddists by name but racially and culturally distinct from the rest of the Ladakhis. The women wear their hair in ( i counted 24 plats) and some of them had their hair over their knees! here you can see how they manage that , once in a while the brush their hair and also ‘use’ all the hair in their brush than they plait there hair WITH that loose hair , well if you do that all your life you will have very long hair, brilliant idea ,i thought!, ladakh, India
Those ‘bands’ the women use on their head when they carry those big waterpots, they come in all kind of sizes and colors, i tryed it with this too to carry a waterpot but that did not help a bit!! Rajahstan, India

The Alhambra – Arabic: literally means “the red one”; the complete name is “Qal’at al-Hambra”, which means “The red fortress”) is a palace and fortress complex of the Moorish rulers of Granada in southern Spain occupying a hilly terrace on the southeastern border of the city of Granada. Once the residence of the Muslim rulers of Granada and their court, the Alhambra is now one of Spain’s major tourist attractions exhibiting the country’s most famous Islamic architecture, together with Christian 16th century and later interventions in buildings and gardens that marked its image as it can be seen today. Its most westerly feature is the alcazaba (citadel); a strongly fortified position. The rest of the plateau comprises a number of palaces, enclosed by a relatively weak fortified wall, with thirteen towers, some defensive and some providing vistas for the inhabitants.
