40cm x 45cm acrylics and collage on canvas. As yet another art course project for tafe, our imaginative lecturer wanted us to take 2 masterpieces by high profile artists and imagine, metaphorically if they’re were to be married and to have a child, paint what that child would look like! We could either make them not work together purposely to make a statement or blend them into a new image. This is man ray’s woman with cello ‘f’ holes and one of Kurt Shwitters’ collages (mostly painted but also collaged). At first i didn’t like this too much but after I got stuck into it I fell in love and this has been my favorite painting of mine ever since.

harley davidson motorbikes at the yanchep inn. The local pub located inside the yanchep national park in western australia. I cant say im real fond of the place, they forgot to put chicken on my chicken caesar salad today at lunch and i just couldnt be bothered complaining. The apathy in me knows no bounds.

I had to laugh when I saw the Prize Pig at the fair. He had earned his nap working hard all day to win first prize. He could rest easy because winning the prize meant he was going to have an easy life and not end up as bacon on somebody’s plate. It was funny though, because even though he had won first prize, he was still a pig. All content & images are ©amari, ©amarica. A hog in one of the barns where we rent. They are not ours. Our landlord has 3 hog barns on the hill where we rent. I think this one was saying “Who are you?” This photo was taken through a barn window.

Pen and ink drawing color enhanced on photoshop. This is not about weight it is about people who push other people around. They need to remember there is always someone out there bigger than them.

I took this shot while living in the Canadian prairies. I would always see this family of gophers at this burrow, so one afternoon I thought it would be a neat idea to prop up this minature Canadian flag at the entrance of the hole and wait. It took a bit of patience but finally this little fellow emerged and stood there for me as if he were reciting the anthem itself. Hope you enjoy. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /
