Feelin the Spiritby Sally Omar / Feeling the Spirit / Stirring inside / Allowing it to appear / No longer hide / Hearing the drums / Of long ago / Wanting to stay / Yet wanting to go / Hearing the music / The dance to begin / Looking at the dancers / For that special him / The scene is very smoky / The fires continue to burn / There is so much you don’t know / So much to learn / The spirit has entered / Way down..so deep / Your body starts to move / To the exotic beat / You hear the voices / Of the forefathers / Who have arrived / Telling their stories / Of how they died / You want to sit / But have lost control / You’ve come to this place / Out comes your soul / It dances next to you / All red and so bright / You dance till you fall / You’ve danced all night / Feeling the Spirit / The dance comes to an end / The Spirit stays within / Both woman and spirit blend / FEELING THE SPIRIT

Pastel on Canson. / Part of a series of Fantasy Birds. / Cosmic Crested Tinkle Bird is found near or on Bluebell Trees.These trees make very low tinkling sounds that harmonise with nature itself. / The CCTB, keeps the balance between them with a special low whistle wich imitates the tree,and thus allows the flowering bluebells to blossom,amongst the most beautiful rythm of nature. / The sound of the tree helps keep us full of love and harmony. / Sometimes when you are not aware and you get that warm lovin feelin it is just possable that one of these Cosmic crested Tinkle Birds have just flown over you. The Rainbow Poole Bird is a very close relative to the CCTB,Which only goes to show that birds of a feather do flock together,:):):)

The lovely Sally Omar: has written a poem to go with “The Hat” Im so honour and happy.Thank you Sally…...:) THE HAT Written by SALLY OMAR He was quite handsome / His eyes so very blue / I turned to look at him / He looked at me too / He had a hat / Sitting on his head / And a smile on his face / I blushed and turned red / The hat was so perfect / And his eyes twinkled / He had a cleft in his chin / And a wee bit of a wrinkle / He turned around / And walked my way / And whispered to me / “Hope you have a nice day” / I smiled and said / “Thank you so much” / And turned again / Saying “Are you in a rush?” / I sketched him that day / And enjoyed his company / He was a gentleman / As pleasant as one could be / THE HAT

This is a photo of “moi”,taken about 15yrs ago,have just come across it.It was taken when I had just arrived back from the states,I had been there for about 9mths,just me and my youngest,we had lived selling my art and visiting via the greyhound buses.A couple of months previous to us setting out,I had helped with the sacred run,and had met Oreon Lyons,Dennis Banks,Tom le Blanc and many others,who had helped me realise that I was even though alone,always had family,and it did not matter were I lived,in my heart was home.It was a very intense time and many things happened,and this photo represents that time.If you like an inner realisation and a bond that can never be broken. / Mitakeya Osayin. Please let me introduce you to the Champagne Fizz-Fizz Bird,this is a rare and special bird.It lives in a very remote vineyard,in a teeny weeny village just outside Champagne in France.It lives on a grape and cork vine,only known in that region.It is rarely seen(except after one or two glasses of vintage champagne)It is quite magical and it is said,if it dips its beak in the wine vats,the bubbles come out rainbow coloured….......:):):) / © Copyright 2008 Jo Hoden, All Rights Reserved.

Pastel on canson… Rainbow Poople Bird…........ / This bird mysticly appears when the rainbow shines on the very rare the Poople tree these trees are found at the end of rainbows, some what near the pot of gold. They flower every six weeks and the Rainbow Poople Bird harvests the tree to keep the colours in the rainbow. As you can imagine he is a very busy bird and flys soo fast you can never see him.
