The Grass Really Is Greener…. “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” – Tommy Lasorda This Work Was Featured In Live, Love, Dream / (Thanks Bamgirl) Winner of the Today’s Best award, June 24th, 2008, at Zazzle / This is a new collaboration work I created inspired by a photo from one of my good friends Paul Hobday better known as Hobbers. I was inspired to create this piece from his work Twisted It really caught my eye…and my mind wandered to perhaps how the fence really became twisted. ;D / I really enjoy Paul’s photography as I’m sure you will too, please take a look at his wonderful portfolio. One of my favourite portraits of my Dad, doing what he loves more then anything else in the world fishing. If he could he’d spend every day fishing, as it is he sometimes wets a line three or four times a day. On this occasion I decided to get up early and document him enjoying his sport. This is the result, it has special sentimental value to me, but I felt like sharing it as something different to what I’ve been posting recently.

‘Beach Buddies’ Series card by Karin Taylor Rockpool Therapy was created using sepia ink for the spontaneous fast flow of the outlines, and inks and watered down acrylics with a touch of pastel here and there for the rest. There are days when a visit to the rockpools does wonders for my soul! / To share a visit to the rockpools with one’s friends is even better.
