  • Dragon Hoard
    by blacknight

    US$3.99–US$91.20

But the good champion Ethelred, now entering within the door, was sore enraged and amazed to perceive no signal of the maliceful hermit; but, in the stead thereof, a dragon of a scaly and prodigious demeanour, and of a fiery tongue, which sate in guard before a palace of gold, with a floor of silver; and upon the wall there hung a shield of shining brass with this legend enwritten - Who entereth herein, a conqueror hath bin; / Who slayeth the dragon, the shield he shall win. Edgar Allan Poe Artmatic Pro fractal collage.

  • Amelie's Mind Hoard
    by Ayrlie Lane

    US$3.99–US$28.50

  • Construct17
    by Mark Higgins

    US$4.32–US$98.80

Part of the extensive works at Docklands are hundreds of metres of colourful hoardings. The new ferris wheel – our answer to London’s equally hideous “London Eye” – is going to dominate the skyline. The jumble of verticals behind the hoarding and colourful sections in the foreground make for an interesting mix of shapes and colours. ....and there is that number again…17…spooky. / From our recent JS3 walk.

  • pallet hoard
    by dimsim

    US$18.29–US$418.00

A hoard of blue painted shipping pallets, huddle a safe distance behind their barbed wire fence, stacked carefully beneath a massive melaleuca ti tree. Brunswick, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

  • Oak DNA
    by Martie Venter

    US$3.99–US$91.20

A single autumn acorn, with cap and stalk still attached, against a white background

  • Grass Cranes
    by Mark Higgins

    US$4.49–US$102.60

The juxtaposition of the hoarding image and the two white cranes makes for an interesting image. I just liked the contrast and the red horizontal bar nicely balances the image and divides the two scenes.

  • _Collected over past couple of months: need to clear my inbox but can’t part with them totally: so thought I would share them with other sadly nostalgic hoarders that are also troubled by parting. Some are in full, others, preserved in part cause some things are too sacred to share….sorry….besides some FRIENDS/ENEMIES would KILL me for full disclosure….hmmmmm… that’s got me thinking…._

  • red queen hypothesis
    by animo

    US$4.66–US$106.40

red queen hypothesis* / is the hypothesis that organisms are constantly struggling to keep up with one another in an evolutionary race between predator and prey species. ...a world where Capitalists are the “other” species and the colour red is no longer the property of Communists ; ) *named from a passage in ‘Alice through the looking glass’ by Lewis Carroll, where the Red Queen tells Alice “it takes all the running you can do to stay in the same place.” source: Oxford Dictionary

  • This is the street painting I started 27 Dec 07, as a dedication to Axel Moore. Here is a detail of the work completed 17th Feb 08 (well, I often wonder if these things are ever really completed). RedBubble uploaded the image sideways, dunno why, but I actually like it that way.
