  • Deadmau5
    by ozlat

    US$29.92

Another request from me bro… The name Deadmau5 (pronounced dead mouse) comes from an incident where a mouse crawled into Joel Zimmerman’s computer. Dead mouse was too long for a site login name so he abbreviated it to be “Deadmau5”. Here’s a little youtube vid to put things into perspective. At the printers… /

  • Lightthinker pays his respects
    by jchanders

    US$6.65–US$152.00

Another version of this shot was the hit shot of the past two months on my lightthinker-gallery on deviantArt. In no time it roared up into second position on this gallery: the present dates are 1985 views and 285 favs. Some of you will have had a look at my ligththinker-gallery and seen that the central impetus of this gallery lies in the combination of lightthoughts, i.e. lightful and inspiring quotations with beautiful photography. Let me give you the lightthought 490 which goes together with this picture: “We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light.” / (Mary Dunbar) And now the sad thing. I closed down my lightthinker-gallery this week for the time being. I told my 670 watchers that Redbubble had won at least temporarily and that they had the choice of watching either of my two jchanders-galleries, the one on deviantArt or the one here. After nearly three years, a new chapter has been opened. This Redbubble gallery, still in its buds, has developped such a dynamics of its own that I decided to give it most of my energy now. I hope you will appreciate it. Taken at Laage Vuursche, 22nd October 2007. 10.33 am / Nikon D 80, Nikkor 18-200 mm at 70 mm / F 7.1, 1/100, ISO 500

  • Fisherman and his dog
    by Brian Towers

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This is a mixture of watercolour and pastel and is of the Wansbeck, a local river where we spent most of our childhood – a time of wartime restrictions and no home entertainment beyond board games. In those days we fished for food rather than sport. Regardless, it was great fun.

  • Poor guy lost all his friends millions of years ago :(

  • Featured in Exceptional Ekphrasis November 13, 2008. / Featured in Falling Leaves November 13, 2008. / Featured in Live, Love, Dream November 11, 2008. “I sing because I’m happy, / I sing because I’m free, / For His eye is on the sparrow, / And I know He watches me.” / words by Civilla D. Martin, music by Charles H. Gabriel His Eye Is On The Sparrow A fun compilation … still getting the hang of it!! Both images taken with the Nikon D40x, tree with the 18-135mm with the polarizing filter attached, the bird was taken with the 55-200mm lens. I love my birdie shots, but they’re all mostly taken on my boring deck … and I loved this beautiful branch shot I took on Sunday, but by itself … eh?? So the logical thing seemed to be to try to combine the two. Once I started thinking about it, this wonderful old hymn immediately popped into my head!! Hope you enjoy!!!

  • I’m not 100% sure what’s going on in this picture, but I have no doubt that spending his day in the house of a creepy old man wasn’t exactly the way this kid hoped things would turn out. There’s a story here, I’m just not exactly sure what it is.
