  • Photograph as is no editing at all . / / I waited until almost midnight to photgraph this, they only flower at night opening fully around midnight, by morning they are just a limp reminder of their beauty, I forgot to move the pot plant [large so it is rather heavy ,to a light source during the day] so I had to stumble about in the dark, I did have a torch a distance away as we have many spiders to get tangled in to the webs. I had to keep it away incase it interfeered with the photo. Now I have no idea about technical talk but readin the info on properties light source flash and auto ;lens ap.3.00 metering mode patterned;lens focus auto; exp auto. Camera Panasonic Lumix DMC F27

  • This was taken at sunset in Maleny, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, Australia. Colour Balance on PS was used to punch up the colours. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera. This was also the view from our balcony.

  • A must to view larger!!!!We’ve had some really stunning sunsets lately and I just couldn’t resist this one, I was on my way home and had to find somewhere high up quickly to get this shot. My daughter phoned me and said I hope you’re taking a photo. I actually drove to a carpark behind a commercial building and took this over the rear wire fence. I now have a new fave spot if there’s a great sunset! Panoramics /

  • Second night in a row this guy was in the park. The loud croaking leads me straight to him :) Light showers again, this time, climbing an Umbrella Tree. As I approached, there was 4-5 cane toads at the base of the tree, and I relized why this guy climbs every night. Not to get food, but for survival. It’s a real shame, because those toads are probably eating the tadpoles if any in the area too :( Alot easier to photograph in this tree, so I got some good shots to display today. I hope you enjoy :) Canon 50D 85mm IS. Multi natural light LED lighting. Noosa Hinterlands area, 7-8pm. Available Large without detail loss :)

  • Natural Arch in Springbrook National Park, Queensland is a most unusual geological feature created over millions of years by water tumbling through the roof of a basalt cave. Natural Bridge is home to an amazing colony of glow-worms, whose lights can be seen only after sunset. Lookouts and lush rainforest also grace this World Heritage-listed haven, making it one of the most popular parks in Australia. Take the short circuit walk to the natural arch over Cave Creek, and view the unique waterfall and cave. Enjoy a picnic and relax in cool rainforest. Join a nocturnal tour to see delicate glow-worms. / On summer nights, see luminous fungi and fireflies. During the day, hear the calls of paradise riflebirds, green catbirds and wompoo fruit-doves.

  • Autumn in the rainforest yields some great natural colours – Springbrook Qld 2009

  • Went for a trek with Adam Maund through Springbrook hoping to find some frogs on the way back. No frogs but we did find some Trap Door Spiders which was very interesting. / I’ll be back Summer time so I can get a few more shots but from in the water – just a little fresh for swimming now. / Springbrook National Park, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

  • Would have been great to turn around and shoot this little waterfall except it was rather messy with leaf litter and a couple of branches. What does one expect in a Rainforest? / We cleaned the previous waterfall for a shoot but this had a little too much. / Great place to be come Summer. / Springbrook National Park, Gold Coast.

  • Taken on a recent holiday to Binna Burra (Lamington National Park) Burrajum Falls along the Coomera Circuit, definitely one of the most stunning walks I’ve ever done. To get the best light for shots, we started walking at about 4:45am, was definitely worth the early rise! We definitely felt accomplished after walking 43km in three days too!
