Saw this flower while walking around Harbour Town in Hilton Head & grabbed a quick shot of it.

Another flower I walked by while in Hilton Head. I don’t know what these are…. but they smelled really good. They grew in big bunches like honeysuckle.

This is my first attempt at “fading” or “overlaying” another picture on top of another one. Please let me know what you think… your honest opinion. I am thinking about buying this as a gift for someone & want to make sure that they will like it. Thanks!

Saw this little guy get washed up on the beach. When i showed this photo to my kids they immediately yelled out “Mr. Crabs!”... from the sponge bob cartoons… it was too funny.

For most of my trip it was cloudy and no sunsets at night, this was as good as it got!

One of my favorite shots from our Hilton Head vacation…. My beautiful wife and a lovely sunset. This was taken on the pier at Harbour Town.

Taken May 2008 The 90-foot, red-and-white striped tower of the Harbour Town Lighthouse on Hilton Head Island is the visual centerpiece of the popular Sea Pines, located in Hilton Head South Carolina. Completed in 1970, this was the first privately financed lighthouse to be built since the early 1800s. Visitors who climb the lighthouse steps will find an excellent spot from which to view Hilton Head Island. Harbour Town Lighthouse Another photo from 2005 Here

This flag was in someone’s “back yard” on the beach. It caught my attention being surrounded by the pine trees eventhough the ocean was right behind me….

I think this is called Skimboarding…. just a candid shot while walking on the beach at Hilton Head. I was trying my hand at some action shots… lighting on the beach made it tough. 1/800 / f/4.5 / iso 80

I have never seen a caterpillar like this before, so I just had to get a shot of it. Another photo from my Hilton Head trip. I did a little research… I think this little guy is a white-marked tussock moth caterpillar. An unusual fact that I found odd… the female moths are wingless & cannot fly.

While walking down the beach, this dog caught my attention. She looked like she was having a blast…. while snapping a few shots, her owner told me that she really didn’t like the water, but I couldn’t tell. She was playing fetch, jumping on the waves, and just having a great time in the water. Then when she turned and looked at me, I noticed her eyes… they just amazed me. I am really happy that this shot turned out, and I could share it with everyone.
