  • A rustic stock yard and green shearing shed with a backdrop of cattle grazing below the ranges

  • I saw this dramatic tree sitting in a grassy hilly area, and immediately thought “oh, what a great black and white shot!”. When I started editing it, it adjusted the curves a little bit and out came a really nice dynamic range with saturated colors. Needless to say, I liked the color shot more than the black and white shot.

  • View the ClevR full size Panorama here (It’s awesome!!) A very wide view of Mt Tom Price, with the Mine Site visible nestled in the mountain side. I can’t believe how much I got in with this Panorama shot!!! The File I uploaded for this is 14587×3048 pixels and is very detailed when viewed full size. The only way I could think of to show the detail in this is to show you a full size sample. The whitish square in the thumb below is roughly the detailed view below that. :)

  • Woodlands Historic Park, Greenvale, Victoria, Australia.

  • Photoshopped artwork – I took this shot at a gorgeous cafe in Willunga, McLaren Vale. The place has got great character and the lighting was just perfect – voila

  • My daydream weekender in the Dandenongs near Olinda

  • I spotted a huge disused storage tank on a former industrial site – it was an overall pinkish color but when I looked closely I found it had a lot of interesting markings. I used my macro lens to shoot a number of close-up photographs. In this one the scratches and what appears to be fungus growth combine to make an interesting landscape. /

  • I found this playa on a recent trip up to Sierra Nevada and i knew I would be back. This dry lakebed backs up against a cinder cone and in the far background the Sierras can be seen. It can be found near Fossil Falls in the Mojave Desert. I decided to do a B&W conversion of this photo due to popular request. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Bench with a sunrise view in Death Valley National Park, California.

  • Photo was taken just after noon on a recent visit to Saguaro NP west. A friend from back East is a photobug, so while showing her around I took along my camera and snapped some of my own. • Adelaide Hills DDO May 9 2009 /

  • a flower @ Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua,NY.

  • A spontaneously created work in response to a poem, read accidently while researching another work “Turmoil”, is blue cold and red heat, it is black darkness and bright light…it is land it is sea…it is a study in contrasts…Turmoil..after being seen on RB this morning original sold just now… One day or other, some time or other in one’s life, it may be that everyone feels turmoil... Neither do I wish to live / nor do I want to die / dare not peep into future / or look into the past / spending the present / so as to flow with the current / nothing gives me pleasure / nor even pain hurts / but a small understanding / and a slow awakening / may be that past birth’s sins / reap the fruits now / paralyzing my thoughts / creating confusion in my deeds / what I was, what I am, / what I can be? / how strong the ordinance of God / how inevitable his judgement. L.Prasanthi Painted alla prima in Setacolor Fabric paint, and Glimmer Mist Acrylics on Black Linen Fabric

  • Canon EOS 10D (converted to infra-red) / Canon TS-E 24mm f3.5L Tilt+Shift Lens / ISO: 100 / Aperture: f19 / Speed: 8 seconds / Focus: Manual / Image: single RAW file / Location: Kings Tableland, Blue Mountains National Park

  • Magnificence was shot from the side of the “road” on the upper reaches of the Nulla Nulla Creek, north of Bellbrook in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. At this point, the public road was well and truly traversing farm paddocks, and this tree used to be part of the yard of a long-gone homestead. We didn’t make it to the swimming hole I had last visited 20-odd years ago, as the bush is basically reclaiming the route and my AWD ain’t no 4WD! Handheld Canon EOS 10D [converted to infrared with a Deep B&W IR Filter (equivalent to Kodak Wratten 87c / 830nm)] / Canon TS-E 24mm f3.5L Tilt+Shift Lens / ISO: 100 / Aperture: f9.5 / Speed: 1/90th of a second / Image: Single RAW file / Location: As above Best viewed large

  • Acrylic on canvas, 40cm square, a painting of a field near where I live. The name of the field is correct, the colours are all mine…...

  • Please view this large / I have seen this peaceful view manytimes near my hometown Kumta, India throughout my childhood and highschool days. But during my last month visit I saw this more beautifully than ever after a learnt photography in RB. / Ofcourse this is a processed image in PS to get some eyecatching colors but this is how I wish to see this place one day. Canon 1000d,18-55 lens, ISO100, f9.5, 1/500 ( wanted to freeze that bird) /
