  • Photographed between Nairne & Oakbank on Mappinga Road during the Easter Long Weekend. I have added a textured effect to the image, as the gums reminded me of a Hans Heysen painting. The blue tinge to the mist is due to the fact that the band of mist was quite narrow, and just on the other side of this tree & the mist, the sun was shining & there was a beautiful blue sky :)

  • The autumn leaves surround the green bench in a blanket of orange. This was taken at Stirling, in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia, in Autumn. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera. This image is currently being featured in The Adelaide Hills Group.

  • I was off to take some photographs of some waterfalls in the Breacon Beacons in Wales when I almost missed this scene. Had there not been a break in the cloud I may have missed it. It was probably the best drive by shooting photograph I have to date. Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 27mm, f/8, 1/60 sec, ISO 400. No filters used and mounted on the car door. A small amount of dust and scratches removed in photoshop. This shot is also available from a photobook collection called Rural Mementos by redtree.me © Copyright 2009 David Reid – redtree.me – All rights reserved.
