This my usual dog-walking park and more recently my coyote-photography park. it’s a pretty unassuming little place, but when the light is just right it can be spectacular.   • Joshua Tree National Park, California. This huge rock has been hollowed out by erosion and has two holes through it. Native Americans left many petroglyphs inside.

  • Meldon Quarry, on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Devon, UK Taken from close to the parking area at Meldon, this is a January view of South Down, near Okehampton, on an extraordinarily clear day. It is an image which had slipped into the wrong folder when I was sorting them in the new year. (103)

  • A Morning Stroll At the Lake Every now and then we almost miss a shot, and luckily this time I happened to turn around as I was walking back to my car from shooting the sunrise and had this scene greet me. Captured at Cherry Creek State Park outside of Denver, Colorado, the light seemed to almost dance among the trees. Processed in HDR

  • Old Mans Cave Upper Falls (TOP of FALLS) / The most popular of all the Hocking areas is Old Man’s Cave, located on S.R. 664. Here at Upper Falls, the Grandma Gatewood Trail begins its six-mile course connecting three of the park’s areas: Old Man’s Cave to Cedar Falls to Ash Cave. This same trail has been designated as part of Ohio’s Buckeye Trail as well as part of two national systems—the North Country Scenic Trail and America’s Discovery Trail.   • This is St Malo’s church, a very popular church for the photography world. I have seen a hundred shots of this church and have always wanted to shoot it!   • Old stables of the abandoned mining town of the Cerro del Hierro (“Iron Hill”) in Seville (Andalusia, Spain). They have lost all their roof but the place is a good one to practise photography :) It’s located in the Natural Park of the northern highlands of Seville, between the municipalities of San Nicolás del Puerto and Constantine. With an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, is one of the upper area of the southern edge of the plateau bordering the basin of the Guadalquivir river.
