Great light , and I think a lovely misty view in this shot taken just after sunrise…. No alteration was done apart from a bit of cropping. Groupings / - Flowers / - Wildlife / - Christmas & Other Cards / - Clothing
This was taken at the end of my street in the Adelaide Hills on my way to work one morning in Winter. Featured in The Adelaide Hills group 2008
Taken in Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. The sun as it rose through the fog turned the branches & dried grass a beautiful golden red colour. I also used the ‘shade’ white balance, which helped to enhance the yellow & red tones.
..I’m like a kid with a new toy!!! Misty morning with the added “flood”.....
Another early morning landscape thats had the “flooded” treatment!!
Light spills through and around the limbs and leaves of a large gum tree in as the sun rises through a morning mist in the Adeliade Hills of Australia.
Early morning light illuminates a gnarled white gum in a paddock in the Adeliade Hills region of Australia. ( I was blessed with an Editors Pick in the Man& Nature Forum on Nature Photographers Network the first week of May 2008)
The mist and fog had a real ‘tea-stained” appearance the morning this was taken!!
to take away the pain… Lyrics from “Me, You and My Medication” / - by Boys Like Girls… Enjoy!! _

A hungover delicate walk through the colourful Notting Hill the day after the night before. A hair of the dog on Portabello Road.
A Morning Stroll At the Lake Every now and then we almost miss a shot, and luckily this time I happened to turn around as I was walking back to my car from shooting the sunrise and had this scene greet me. Captured at Cherry Creek State Park outside of Denver, Colorado, the light seemed to almost dance among the trees. Processed in HDR
A nice misty morning with the shadows from the trees stretching through the mist…and new colours on the gum trees….... DebsPhotos
Pastel on Colourfix Sanded Paper (Burgundy) – 70cm x 50cm This is another in the series of paintings I did along Hughes Creek at Tarcombe, Victoria, Australia. This is such a beautiful and isolated area! ‘Good Morning Billy Hill’ is the name of the hill in the far distance. I had an energetic climb to my vantage point at around 7.00 a.m. on the most glorious, warm, clear morning. There was a slight mist around. It was a ‘great to be alive’ day! Softly, as in a morning sunrise / The light of love comes stealing / Into a new born day—oh / Flaming with all the glow of sunrise / A burning kiss is sealing / The vow that all betray / For the passions that thrill love / And lift you high to heaven / Are the passions that kill love / And let you fall to hell / So ends the story / Softly, as in an evening sunset / The light that gave you glory / Will take it all away I was listening to this wonderful song and I had to do a painting in response to the lyrics…written by Hammerstein and Romberg, the song was recorded by every one under the sun…poignant and heartbreaking, it has always resonated with me…I hope the painting does the same with you. Painted All Prima in Acrylic on Canvas. MUSIC FEATURED IN THE FOLLOWING GROUPS.. / Feminine Intent. / Watermedia. / Image Writing / Impressionist Art.
A lovely misty morning to awaken too…with dawns soft hues touch !!
early summer morning /
I was off to take some photographs of some waterfalls in the Breacon Beacons in Wales when I almost missed this scene. Had there not been a break in the cloud I may have missed it. It was probably the best drive by shooting photograph I have to date. I’ve had a little play in photoshop and thought I’d post the results. / The original was shot using a Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 27mm, f/8, 1/60 sec, ISO 400. No filters used and mounted on the car door. I then upped the exposure in photoshop with a layered PS approach and added some crows for effect. I hope you like it. © Copyright 2009 David Reid – redtree.me – All rights reserved.
