Little droplets in a little ocean of water.
A Canon EOS 400D, high shutter speed, natural sunlight, a sink and a tap… And a lot of patience for all the timing attempts :)
Highspeed Photography. A series of broken lightbulbs just as they´re being lit, causing them to burn and produce thick smoke. Pretty cool if you ask me. :-) Thanks for stopping by for a little looksie. :-) / Andreas Stridsberg © / www.mystic-pic.com

Hi there! ☺ Yes…it´s me…..Andreas Stridsberg. Why am I opening a new account you ask? Well the answer is simple: Because i´m under contract with various publishers that demand they have “first dibs” on my work i can´t go around selling them left and right. I first have to wait for them to either accept or reject any of my new work. And because that´s usually a looooong and slooooow process i then use my other account to simply showcase my work. While on this account i can make those i know for sure my publishers have rejected available as prints to whomever may be interested. Does it make sense to you? :-) I´m sorry for possibly posting duplicates of something that i might already have posted at my original stridsberg-account But i need to keep them separeted due to above mentioned reasons. :-) Thanks for stopping by! And as always…keep an eye on my own website for my most recent work and my pointless blog: Sincerly Andreas Stridsberg www.mystic-pic.com P.S. I´m also sorry for repeating this message on my every single upload tonight…i just thought i´d be as clear as possible. Godness how i´m apologizing right now…i´m sorry about that as well. :-/

I´ve shot many drop-shots…but this is probably one of the best in my own humble opinion. I just love the shape that bottom drop has. NO postwork done except cropping. ☺ Thanks for stopping by! ☺ Andreas Stridsberg | www.mystic-pic.com
Sometimes simple water takes on the most amazing shapes and forms. Doesn´t this one look like a foot (with a shoe and everything) kicking a ball? ☺ Thanks for “dropping” by! ☺ Andreas Stridsberg | www.mystic-pic.com

this ghostly flowering tree seems to be almost radioactive … shot some time ago in the desert around Broken Hill with Infrared film the tree itself just glows in the full desert sun. ...it’s so radient it seems like there must be angels breath on it almost setting it on fire somehow…surely you could see this tree in heaven it’s so bright and so beautiful…...it’s the tree I would most love to be able to sit underneath and dream some dreamy dreams / . / this image is available as part of the in the garden of my dreams collection
there be begonias in my garden… in my real life as well as my dream life… such pretty flowers so perfectly perfect…. these otherwise unremarkable flowers have been rendered other worldly by the use of my very favourite of all films… Kodak Highspeed Black and White Infrared film…. I just love it to bits for it’s particular transformative properties like with this pot of begonias…. / . / this image is available as part of the in the garden of my dreams collection
well it just wouldn’t be a proper dream without a road to nowhere…. most likely this will be the last of these dark and dreamy Infrared photo’s for a while…. I’m starting to long for a little bit of colour in my life right now…..
