A different presentation of my image Tender Reflections. This version was desaturated, lightness and contrast adjusted with levels and finally colour given back to the rose with the history brush. Kindly give me your critique. The setup for the original shot: / Flower placed on a polished glass top. Camera resting on same glass top, some couple of feet from subject. A white sheet as backdrop. Arches National Park Sunset in Moab Utah. As I walked down the trail from the Delicate Arch the sun began to set behind the range of mountains in the distance. The sight was truly magnificent. Shot taken with a Nikon D60, 18-55 Nikkor VR lens.

This feast for the senses was found, at the lake, at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, in the Dandenongs, in Victoria, in autumn this year. This HDR shot is 3 shots merged together with Photomatix Pro using tone mapping and details enhancer. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and tripod, too.
This is the newest member of our family – Belle. She’s a fox terrier X jack russell and very very cute and probably the most spoilt person in the house.
