The world is about to end because of global warming. Temperatures are soaring, ice is melting, glaciers are retreating, seas are rising, and we’re all going to fry. We’re all up to here with worry about it. The Royal Society says there’s no longer any room for scientific doubt about it. Britain’s Chief Scientist says it’s a bigger threat than global terrorism. / Every global warming sceptic is denounced as clinically insane. Every developed nation wags its finger at every other (well, ok then, at America) and tells it to Emit Less. Every politician and B-list celebrity now anxiously measures his or her carbon footprint. Every British schoolchild is now drilled to believe that man-made global warming is a Fact along with poverty and the existence of Belgium. It’s a wonder any of us has any incentive to get up in the morning. :) Online Galleries: / Surrealism art prints / 2d3d graphic design software / 3ds models max software

“A pessimist only sees the dark side of the clouds, and mopes; a philosopher sees both sides and shrugs; an optimist doesn’t see the clouds at all …. he’s walking on them.” / - Leonard L. Levinson. / “Number Two Rocks” – South Australia. / © 2007. /
A scene reminiscent of some work places – everyone trying to climb to the top! Seems these snails felt the need to climb high onto an old fence post between Carpenters Rocks and Blackfellows Caves in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. This is a common sight at this time of the year where common paddock snails congregate on anything off the ground… Canon 400D, 18-55 lens with CIR Polariser.

A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.
Okay…. My kids made me do it!!! They found this snail in the garden and insisted that I photograph it so here’s the result.
as is… / this was a lucky shot . I was shooting flowers when I saw this grasshopper standing on a basketball base and gave it a try without changing my camera settings, to be sure not to miss it (yes, I quite often scare them ! lol) / I liked the dof and how it peeks out of the smooth and light surrounding. / and how curious this little cutie looks ^^ / so here it is =)
... but for how long? Our wild horses are at the center of tremendous controversy, as the government agency whose purpose is to protect the herds, announced that they have run out of funds for maintaining more than 33,000 captive horses—and one “solution” was mass “euthanasia”. Recently, the BLM proposed eliminating eleven wild horse areas from the Ely, NV District. All 620 horses in this area would be permanently removed from their natural environment, purportedly blamed for “environmental damage”. Birds sitting on wires isolated on white background
Mountain Lion caught at 12,000ft. overlooking the Aspen valley as two hawks come flying up from hundreds of feet below.
A compilation of clouds and flying birds rendered in PS. Hope you like!
One of the many stunning views from the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. I loved the patterns the clouds made on the ground.
And then the arrival on the Jungfraujoch, in the heart of a glorious glacier world on the very roof of Europe! Superb views extend as far as the summits of the Vosges Mountains in France and the Black Forest in Germany. The Great Aletsch Glacier, at 22 km the longest ice-stream in the Alps, begins on the Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe.

Painted around the same time as “Ukulele Lady” she was gifted to friends when after a major show on the other side of the island she arrived completely warped and couldn’t be hung. She is painted on a masonite panel box. She symbolizes being the sea/see…..rising from the dark…..movement and being still. Notice the Humahumanukanukapuaa. (sounds like huma huma nuka nuka ap poo a a)..Hawaii’s state fish. Sometimes it’s hard for me to put my images into words since the point is that they are images asking to be seen and everyone has their own to see…...
