Well as the month ends, so does my travels. / My last quest was in Texas, this was shot flying over Knoxville coming home. One of the most pleasing views I had seen in awhile, my mntns. :) (Great Smoky Mountains) This was shot thru the plane window. I was surprized on how well it turned out. / Flying is a Trip!!! was my first time, and had to do on my birthday, last thursday. I handled the anixiety by having my security blanket with me, my Camera!! / I shot a good 600 shots on the way to Texas! lol I had a great time in Texas, but wow is it Flat! I have been in Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia, and the northern part of Tennessee. Traveled a total of seven states. Each were beautiful in their own right, but from what I have browsed thru on my shots (for now), this one says it best… / There’s no place like home!! / Now time to get out and go shoot some colors, they waited for me to get home :) / Thanks to all for the BD wishes, thanks to Sandy for that beautiful card she made. Please give me sometime to ketchup on all of your beautiful work, I have dozens of pages to ketchup on!! / I am glad to be home, but, I would do it all over again if given the chance. Now I need to set up more gigs like that..heh / Best if viewed larger. Shot this on SS priority, SS at 1/200, F-stop at 4.0, focal length at 20mm, ISO at 100, and exposure compensation at -0.7.

Taken in the High Peaks of Derbyshire on the road to Hartington, this is I think at the Warslow Peak District visitor centre. The combination of light, snow and the classic red phone box meant a slam on of the brakes, reverse, grab camera and shoot a few frames before heading on.
