  • enc. A3 / Sometimes even a witch needs a place to escape / from her daily life ;0) Original Sold My friend Sally Omar wrote another wonderfull poem after seeing my painting. The witches come to this place / It is so beautiful it changes their face / They become beautiful and young / And in this place they have so much fun / Laughing, dancing and prancing in the air / There are witches everywhere / Not wanting to ever leave this peace / So happy their spells cease / No more caulderons or fancy brooms / No more secret books and rooms / Just peace and a lot of talk / Here they just take a walk / And look like beauties one and all / Some witches tall and some so small / The grass is green the trees in bloom / There is no darkness nor any gloom / They can stand on the bridge and watch the water / Every witch and their daughters / Plants of blue and plants of green / This is so much to be seen / But soon they must leave this place / And again have their witches face / They unfortunately cannot stay here / Going back is more that they can bear / But they know that soon one day / They will be back to this place to play / There is so much to talk about / When they are at the WITCHES HIDEOUT

  • While observing the order of bedrest, I snuck out and got my laptop and started going through old picture files and this is one I found! / All of our family have property up in the Colorado Mountains and on one of our gatherings, my brother-in-law decided to get out his Vintage Classic Car. Coming back from a walk in the pines, I looked over and felt like I had stepped back in time. The cabin had been built back in the 1920’s and Brother Bob had just pulled in and left this scene for the perfect capture. It reminded me of the story of Bonnie and Clyde and all the hideouts they had as they lived out their tragic lives… / Thanks for viewing my photography. • Still near Loch Lomond on my day off from working at the Plough Inn at Selside. I followed the path that leads to Rob Roy’s ‘hideout’ for a couple of hours, but it seemed to go for miles. Has anyone actually been for a trek all the way around this Loch?

  • The Hideout
    by Paul Davey

    US$6.65–US$152.00

This dilapidated shed is in a forest just off the country lane that passes through the Village of Turville in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire. Turville is a tiny, picturesque village with just one enormous claim to fame: It is the location used for the filming of TV series, The Vicar of Dibley. I used to come exploring in this area quite often in 2004 – things were going badly for me, but the peace and quiet of these forests was very relaxing. Canon 10D / 1/6th sec @f8 / 15-30mm Sima lens @28mm / ISO100

  • Taken from the cave portion of Hedge Creek Falls in Dunsmuir, California… a very quaint little, historic railroad town… old timer’s in the town will tell you about the story of “Black Bart”... alias Charles Bolles… who was a notarious stagecoach robber in Northern California during the late 1870’s and 1880’s… he was known as a gentleman bandit… who left behind poems at some of his robberies…. You can see another version of this falls by going to “Rickncalif” ’s page… I will see if I can share the link here for you…. ;~) Link: http://www.redbubble.com/people/rickncalif/art/1341177-1-hedge-creek-falls
