Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see, but it is impossible. Humans hide their secrets too well. —Rene Magritte

Hidden Treasure is a mixed media production on hardboard. Included in the mix are moulding paste for the eggs, gold and bronze paint, silver thread, fabric, charcoal, ink, pastel and acrylic with a gloss varnish over the eggs. / There is a poem in the background in gold cursive handwriting, which reads: Hidden Treasure Golden eggs are not always easy to find / Sometimes they lay hidden in the pockets of our seams / Sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious to see / the beauty in others~ traits of kindness, compassion, nurture and / gentleness are not always obvious at first glance and / what one may perceive as a fault or weakness / may actually be a great strength. I took this shot on Bell Island, if you look closely at the base of the cliff you can see a natural tunnel that has been bored through the rock by the water and out to the other side. The bravest and most daring of kayakers venture into these tunnels to explore. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / /

I took this photo the day after the severe winds and rain in Nov 2007 while hiking back from Beauchamp Falls in the Otway Ranges. I heard water running off the track and went looking. It showed that beauty can still come after destruction.

On a recent expedition, Magoo2 and I discovered this old rail tunnel in the Lincolnshire Wolds – which was no mean feat,- we had the nettle stings, mud scrapes and bruises [from being whacked by various tree branches during our ‘controlled descent’ of the overgrown gulley] to prove it! The tunnel seems to be Victorian, from the steeply vaulted roof, and is ‘faced and lined’ with higher grade materials [for show] at each end but bellies out to a larger bore built of red brick further in. There’s no trickery with this one, only ambient light and a ‘star effect’ courtesy of an f8 aperture.

images that change into other images then change again. There are over 50 images in this painting and I think you can see most of them. / look to the left going up the mountain you’ll see a man looking toward you with a beard, it changes into a man’s head upside down his hair becomes the beard, the chin turns into a gorilla face. it turns into a profile of a face looking to the left which turns into a cougar looking at you (right to left of all that, in the dark area might be to dark in this will get a higher res Pic up) / See the large ghostly wolfs head above the birds neck? it goes on and on.
