Admin Dave was so excited after yesterday receiving his first black Tee he had to stop deconstructing perfectly good Mac notebooks (see chair), and we ended up with a real case of life (poorly) imitating art. We couldn’t get him to take the sunglasses off, in fact no-one has ever seen his eyes, we’re not sure if they are like the mechanical, evil red ones from the Terminator, or a lovely baby blue. Hi everyone….did ya miss me?? I hope you at least noticed that I was gone…...for a whole 2 weeks. I certainly missed you guys :-) Glad to be home now – had a great time, though it seemed a lot longer than 2 weeks, which is good, cause in a day or two it will be like I was never away….lol Anyway, took lots of pics of farm stuff – did both IR and “normal” photos. We spent most of out holiday on my husbands parents farm in a little town called Tumut It was really hot the whole time we were there so it was great for infrared. But because of the hot weather I had to be extra careful of snakes. I had one close encounter with a red-bellied black snake Luckily we both scared each other and took off in different directions and no I didn’y stick around to get his photo.. We also spend a couple of days at my parents place in Sydney. We were able to leave the boys with my mum and dad and we spent two night in the city centre. Had a very relaxing time, ate fabulous food and I even managed to get some pics of the usual taurist haunts – Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Chinese Gardens etc between eating and shopping. I hope you enjoy the pics I took when I get around to posting them.. / I can’t wait to see what fabulous work I have missed whilst I’ve been away – I can’t promise that I’ll comment on everything…but I’ll do my best – you’ve all been so busy.. And a huge thank you to the person who purchased a small laminated print of The Pasha Bulker whilst I was away. It was so cool to come home and see that I’d made a sale too. Thanks guys / Naomi / xx

Hi my dear friends, it’s good to be back. I really missed you all, but have caught up with a load of stuff that needed to be done. I hope you are all keeping well, I’m so looking forward to seeing all your work again. I have got me a new camera!! Thanks to my lovely Daddy. It’s a Pentax K200D, and I just love it. Lots of stuff to learn but I will get there. Got a chance to go on a shoot with it last Wednesday, we met up with Anthony Hedger and his wife Jacky, what a lovely couple! We all went to Cannonteign Falls on Dartmoor National Park, They are the highest falls in England, we climbed to the top but had to stop at every bench on the way up. We had a wonderful fun day. so the u.s. banking system eats itself, affecting everyone and everything that is associated with it, after providing huge profits by basically lending and charging interest on huge amnounts of money to itself (suddenly the economic system isn’t a group of wolfish competitors, but a pull-together bunch of pals) – money that never did, and never will, exist- valueless promises that were dressed up with confidence to be sold, resold, and then resold, doubtlessly in some cases back to where they came from..a pyramid system that naturally collapses when it catches its own tail and the top becomes the bottom. and the u.s. government decides to spend a whopping series of zeros on healing the enormously abstract self-inflincted wound as the banks literally stuffed their own heads up their arses. the same government that won’t provide health care for their own citizens. how does that work? my congratulations to the republican nazis who stopped bush the nazi’s resuce plan today. at least they’ve got some sort of integrity and understand the hypocrasy of it. and why aren’t the executives volunteering to pay back their huge bonuses that they’ve been paying themselves for the last decade? surely it make sense to prop the system up with the very same stuffing that has been removed, instead of pulling it out of another toy? a silly question of course. I’m being facetious. even if they wanted to, they couldn’t, because being clever, they reinvested them back into the financial system to make them even bigger, because they weren’t big enough in the first place, and now they don’t exist at all, becasue balance being what it is, has redressed the fact that they didn’t exist in the first place. abstract wealth. now you see it. now you don’t. just like to add that i personally don’t have a bank account, and am going to stay as close as i can to mother russia’s gushing oil wells as long as i can. my friends tell me to buy stocks in 3rd world water companies. that to me, is sound economic policy.

Hi everyone : ), Sorry I disappeared. / I had a bit of a turn (seizure type thing) and ended up in the ER. My speech was very slurred and they thought I may have had a stroke. Thankfully I didn’t and the MRI also ruled out MS ! Yay !! They think it was from an underlying infection and my speech is almost back to normal now….but I still sound a little bit like a drunked sailor! On a sadder note my daughters other grandmother died in Melbourne while I was in the hospital and we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye :(. / I’m happy to be home and back on the bubble. Sorry I haven’t answered my bubblemails yet…but there were 84 !! LOL If there’s anything going on I should know about please let me know : ). / Love Wen x

l’m so sorry l haven’t popped in l kinda lost my laptop over the holidays to the kids / l have tried to write in my journal but getting my brain to co operate with my fingers has been harder than usual. l gotta say this switch in chemo really really SUCKS / all l’ve been able to do is just get through it the best way l can. This course of treatment has been hideous my feet hurt so much l now shuffle like an old granny & the same pain runs thru my fingers & all my joints, the treatment attacks every nerve in the body. Every single injury l’ve had over my life time has cum back to bite me BIG time on the ass (lucky l gotta big bum) my eyes constantly weep & the flaring rashes just drive me nuts. l hate the hurt in my boys eyes when there’s nothing they can do for mum but l am grateful thats not too often but above it all l am truly fine & still smiling. l did tell hubby the other day that because l have been such a good girl & not too much of a sook that l reserve the right to go to my last chemo session next week kicking & screaming!!! / lt IS almost over & l’m glad to say l did alright in kicking Cancers Ass & l REALLY look forward to the scans in March to confirm we did a good job :) Radiation starts March 15th & from what l heard its not so bad maybe just a little sun burn so the worst is almost over :) / l will say that l wasn’t nearly prepared for the pain & to all the nurses that told me l may not have any symptoms at all l can honestly say please DON’T DO THAT give BOTH sides & don’t sugar coat such hideous reactions to the chemo, l am tuff but l’m alot tuffer when told of worst case scenarios rather than get caught off guard by wishful thinking that way its more of a relief if its not as bad as once told rather than shit why didn’t you tell me it could be that bad. / Anyway l miss you all so much & thankyou with heartfelt love to those who have bmailed me throughout my recovery l still got alot fight left but knowing l have such beautiful friends makes all the difference in the world. Now l’m gonna cum ring your bubble bell & say GIDDAY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX / lf ya lucky l might even flash ya some new work :-) But l just gotta see some of yours first XXXXXX /

On Saturday morning I went (as I do every week) to our local Farmers Market in Willunga to do my shopping. Fergus always comes with me, it is the highlight of his week! Well there happened to be a camera crew filming a segment for Better Homes & Gardens there, and due to the HUGENESS of my dog, we stood out. Well, you can imagine both my proud feelings of my dog, and my mortification that I was wearing no makeup and dressed like a complete dag, when they asked if they could film us!!!!!!
