  • Dark Alley at Castle Hill.

  • Shot exclusively for fellow redbubbler Michael Bermingham ….. Told you there were effing ducks there !!!! The Albino Duck species has been seen frequenting the Oatman, Arizona area: / Then later, spotted in Bristol TN, at a NASCAR race: / Some have been seen to beach themselves: / Even German tourists have been caught by surprise: / Even amish country has been invaded: /

  • Captured in Oatman, Arizona. Located in the middle of the desert, and known for the wild Burro’s that raom the street, it is hard to imaging that some peculiar duck species actually migrates from the Grand Canyon to Oatman during the month of June. Scientists are still processing migration data and surely will capture, tag and band some of these for future research. This little fellow was spotted on an antique Fordson tractor right on Main Street. Note the similarities to this Duck spotted at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon: / Then later, spotted in Bristol TN, at a NASCAR race: /

  • Totally exhausted from it’s long journey (Grand Canyon to North Carolina), this duck just barely managed to drag itself onto the beach to rest. Note the similarities to this Duck spotted at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon: /

  • After almost a year of eradic migration patterns, this little duckling was captured to undergo further studies by a team of international scientists. Initial reports indicate that this may be THE duck that some have come to known as being named Herman. Scientists fear an imminent public outcry of his immediate release. The laboratory is being picketed by protestors, several researchers have already removed themselves of this study, fearing personal harm. Updates to follow.

  • Colorado Columbine growing along Herman Gulch trail, Colorado. This hike offered sun, rain and snow a day in August.

  • My 2 yr old APHA gelding Super Hot N Zippin aka Herman running in his pasture, I added a filter effect to make him look a little more electrified and blurry. / Thanks to the hosts of Playful Photogenic Pets for featuring this image on their front page as a Special Featured Pet I am honored that this image was chosen.

  • Wildflower along the Herman Gulch trail, in August 2008. During this hike, we had sun, wind, rain, and snow. Typical Colorado weather, never boring. / Nikon D80, 18-135 mm lens / f/16, 1/100 sec, ISO 800 (since I didn’t want to have a long shutter speed, due to the wind), focal length 35 mm

  • Not too bad spot for a lunch break during our Herman Gulch hike. Clouds were coming in. The weather can change really fast in the Colorado mountains, and you better be prepared for any kind. Before we reached the end it was snowing on us. August 14, 2008 / Nikon D80, 18-135 mm lens / f/7.1, 1/125 sec, ISO 200, focal length 20 mm

  • Coogee, Sydney NSW 5D mkii © Ben Herman 2009

  • Found this old moss covered VW Bug amongst the woods in rural Pennsylvania. It looks like it has been resting here for years, yet it still is smiling. When viewed in Large, it almost has a 3-D effect like Kevin pointed out. Herman is in this shot as well …..

  • It was raining, still got some nice shots. January 2009 5D mk ii © Ben Herman 2009
