Stonehenge It’s structures like this that make me realize how old this planet of ours is! When you think of how old stonehenge is and how long the planet earth was in existence before man appeared it makes you realize how brief the human existence has been and yet we have made such an impact on the planet so far! ~ / More of my Works /

On the 9th planet in the Dural System,Deep in the Lukas Nebula, lies the world of Moore’s Retreat, first settled by Sarah Moore and her family just after the Galston Uprising. / It is a beautiful planet, and for much of the year pretty quiet.Much of the time taken up with such pursuits as gardening, art and photography. / But every year in the autunm when Galston Minor rises and brings about the storm of Fire Astroids, this is a time of much work and pleasure. / For with the coming of the astroids the Hot Fire Fungi Mini Mushe’s begin to grow, and it is only after 5 nights that the harvest starts. The harvest as to be done by hand, every mushi must be hand picked between the hours of 2-5 am,the dew can never to allowed to touch them. / Even the children help with the picking. / For once dew as touched the Fungi they become blackened and are highly poisonous. / Otherwise the are a great delicacy, this harvest is the very lifeblood of this world, with the immense profits the population can spend the rest of the year pursuing their hobbies. / Here we see the Fire Mushi’s growing even within walking distance of the Luna Park Towers which is where you go to buy Mini Mushes in downtown Kenthurst. / In the background we see the Sandpiper Hill’s, and of course Galston Minor. .............An excerpt from volume 78 of ” The Travels of Zorind Rakkmnn ”. This is a collaboration between Sarah Moore and I,under “Get Your Own Planet“ I used Sarah’s image’s “Luna Park Towers” & “Mini Mushies“

On the planet Druidia in the Scara system, thousands of stone circles are scattered across the planet. / Legends say that over time the standing stones or henges loose their powers. / When they do others have to be magiced into being. Still the mystery of the Celtic rings remain. This is a pano of 5 renders done with Artmatic Pro & Artmatic Voyager then stiched together in PS Photomerge.
The stone circles or henge’s appear on many worlds across the cosmos, some contain the power to transport, some remain dormant yet they all generate a mystery. / As does this henge on Darius Prime, it seems this one only works for me!! / My friends did not come though,or maybe it did work for them and they went elsewhen!.
Red sky at night, the storm as passed,a peaceful night awaits.
On Tranz IV,the monks of the Heavenly Temple believe this to be the Altar of the Gods and any who enter will be sacrificed. / And once a being looks upon this tapestry for the first time,it is very hard to disagree. But the way I look at this is, so many stars, nebula, galaxies, systems to explore, if I am to be the sacrifice…....then so be it!
Sunset over Stonehenge… No one really knows the reason for the existence of this mysterious circle of huge stones on the plains of Salisbury, UK, though they may have had some astronomical importance due to the alignment of the stones around the mid summer sun. They have stood here for over 4500 years and the largest stone weighs over 45 tons! The stones once formed a circle of standing stones linked by horizontal lintels. Not all of these remain, due to the ravages of time, but enough remain to strike awe into the thousands of visitors each year from all over the world who come to marvel at the sheer magnitude of them, and ponder their meaning and construction techniques.
Stonehenge may always be something of an enigma. Current thought is that it was an ancient burial site (cremated remains) and was a city of the dead while another site nearby was the city of the living. Both places would have been ceremonial religious sites, not per se where everyday life took place. Many people are often a bit disappointed when finally visiting Stonehenge. There are far larger and grander constructions today, but placing it in perspective, this was built without the use of what we would think of as tools today around 2,500 BC.

On Galdron VI on the Plain of Marranas sits the Temple of the Golden Sun. / The water within its walls never dries up even in times of great drought. / Legend says that the waters give the drinker immortality, / maybe so, yet no being as ever got through the force field that surrounds the entire structure. Many are the beings who have tried, for after all, the prize could be the fountain of youth.

The Ring of Brodgar (or Brogar, or Ring o’ Brodgar) is a Neolithic henge and stone circle in Orkney,Scotland. Most henges don’t contain stone circles; Brodgar is a striking exception, ranking with Stonehenge and Avebury among the greatest of such sites. The ring of stones stands on a small isthmus between the Lochs of Stenness and Harray. These are the northernmost examples of circle henges in Britain. Unlike similar structures such as Avebury, there are no obvious stones inside the circle, but since the interior of the circle has never been excavated by archaeologists, the possibility remains that wooden items, for example, may be present. The site has resisted attempts at scientific dating and the monument’s age remains uncertain. However, it is generally thought to have been erected between 2500 BC and 2000 BC, and was, therefore, the last of the great Neolithic monuments built on the Ness. A project called The Ring of Brodgar Excavation 2008 was undertaken in the summer of the year in an attempt to settle the age issue and help answer other questions about a site that remains relatively poorly understood. The results of the excavation are still preliminary. / The circle is 104 metres in diameter, and the third largest in the British Isles. The ring originally comprised 60 stones, of which only 27 remained standing at the end of the 20th century. The tallest stones stand at the south and west of the ring. The stones are set within a circular ditch up to 3 metres deep, 9 metres wide and 380 metres in circumference that was carved out of the solid sandstone bedrock by the ancient residents. Technically, this ditch does not constitute a true henge as there is no sign of an encircling bank of earth and rock. However, many archaeologists continue to refer to this structure as a henge; for example, Aubrey Burl classifies the ditch as a Class II henge; one that has two opposing entrances, in this case on the north-west and south-east. Henge monuments are apparently unique to the British Isles and to the 3rd millennium BC. This was downhill from the ring. The entrance are on left and right of the picture. In the eight continents beheld the ways of Man, / The Sun’s procession, the orbit of the Stars, / The surging of the dragon, the soaring of the phoenix in his flight. / In the red desert to the south I sweltered. / And Northward waded through the wintry burghs of Yu….... Taken midwinter Stonehenge at sunset 2009 on holiday. Use of photomatix to enhance image. Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, on the Salisbury plain. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones and sits at the centre of the densest complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England. The site and its surroundings were added to the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 1986 in a co-listing with Avebury henge monument, and it is also a legally protected Scheduled Ancient Monument. – Wiipedia
