Unfortunately the skies here in the desert are mostly hazy and full of sand and dust! There are not too many days when there are clear horizons with clouds, and to be able to catch a sunrise like this was just excellent! Located in Libya towards the Algerian border. / /

Wicked storm passing over us and i was lucky enough to capture a few shots before the rain hit. Taken in outback Australia, South West Queensland.

These refugee’s were traveling to Chad via Niger and stopped near our rig site to make repairs to their truck. After giving them water food and milk for the women, babies and children, they were gracious enough to let me take some shots. They still had 1000km to travel at this point…......Life is sometimes very cruel! We just took a family vacation to Queensland and visited Australia Zoo while we were there (if you get the chance, get along to it. Well worth it). Caught this little chap sitting on a fence railing. He is a Water Dragon and is approximately 6 inches long. It had us in stitches! Every time i took a shot, he would put his hand up. / Nikon D300, 80 – 400mm at 180mm, f/5, 1/200, ISO 400 / . / / . /

I was framing some sunset shots last night when i looked up directly above me and saw this! My first thought was that it looked dirty, but after processing, it reminded me somehow of a Mocca Chocolate drink (which is better than Dirty). / The only processing done was to increase contrast to strong, increase clarity to 100% (in Camera Raw) and tweak the levels ever so slightly in PS3. . .
