Mother and child Great Blue Heron as night falls . . . I thought of the song, “Help me make it through the night” while I worked on this piece. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give my husband Tommy credit for this photo. He saw the mother and child as he was driving in St. Mary Parish. He pointed them out to me, turned the vehicle around, and positioned the truck so I could get this shot. Without his keen eyes, I would have missed this endearing scene. Thank you, Tommy; I couldn’t do it without you!

I don’t know what kind of wagon this is but I thought it was a good find, Do any of you out there know what year this is from and what it was used for? Thanks for the help in advance and happy viewing hope you like it ??
A classic Mercedes 230CE parked outside a grand house. Without this, the modern cars of today wouldn’t be so great. The black and white, I feel has a great affect on this picture.

Veterinary medicine is the application of medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic principles to companion, domestic, exotic, wildlife, and production animals. Veterinary science is vital to the study and protection of animal production practices, herd health and monitoring the spread of disease. It requires the acquisition and application of scientific knowledge in multiple disciplines and uses technical skills directed at disease prevention in both domestic and wild animals. Veterinary medicine is informally as old as the human/animal bond but in recent years has expanded exponentially because of the availability of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for most species. Animals nowadays often receive advanced medical, dental, and surgical care including insulin injections, root canals, hip replacements, cataract extractions, and pacemakers.
My son Rhys had been playing in the dust with his brothers, and then decided it had got a bit much in the eyes. Don’t worry, I cleaned him up after I quickly took this snap..
Have no idea why I made this. / Just thaught of it, and then this came along – though it ain’t exactly what I imagined it like, damn my inexperience with PhotoShop. / Maybe there’s a voice inside of me, screaming and pleading for help and acceptance – but meh, no need to go into that. / I know it ain’t the most amazing image ever created or anything like that, but if you could take your time to comment this image (good and/or bad points on it), then I will be greatful of your input.
Same wagon from a different angle & in fading light.
100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of this item, will be donated to Bush Heritage Australia Photo of Gentoo Penguin taken at Neko Harbour, Antarctic mainland. The Gentoo Penguin is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red list of Threatened Species Melting sea ice and overfishing have triggered a dangerously rapid decline in penguin populations on the Antarctic peninsula – a direct result of global warming, warns a new report from the WWF. Temperatures on the frozen continent are rising five times faster than the global average due to the unprecedented rate of climate change, pushing four species perilously close to extinction. Warmer temperatures are forcing penguins to raise their young on increasingly thinner and more precarious ice floes, while stronger winds mean many eggs and chicks are being blown away from their parents before they are able to survive on their own. The gentoo, chinstrap and adélie – along with the emperor, the largest penguin species in the world – are now struggling to survive as melting sea ice destroys nesting sites and reduces vital food sources, such as krill.
The ice was on the side, I took a few pics and got this :)
