The “506” of the title refers to the number allocated to this photo taken by the NASA Hubble Telescope. Outline of model from royalty free stock image. Working on the image of the model first, I used the pen tool to create saved paths, which became saved selections and channels. I then used this image as a displacement map to distort a duplicate layer of the NASA image. The displacement map becomes apparent when you look at the “wobbly” stars at the back of her neck. From the model image, I copied both the normal layer and the saved channel to the NASA image and placed the normal layer BELOW the displaced NASA image – which was the duplicate layer, from the previous paragraph. I used the model’s channel on the displaced duplicate layer to mask off everything OTHER than the model. Then, after using a combination of layers and layer masks with various blending modes, I changed the behaviour of these layers using “blend if” options. I also altered the colours a bit via layer adjustments, selected colours (or whatever the exact terminology is) to enhance the reds and blues here. Once that was done, I added the “head gear” that I created in Apophysis, and masked off extraneous things. The “aura” on the right was created in Illustrator, using Andrew’s Vector Plugins, as well as a blend created by combining 3 different paths, which gave me a gradient which provides you with much more control. Simply duplicate the blend and move it over, combining the two. You’ll then have a blend with 3 paths – effectively a GRADIENT! There, I’ve now given you TWO of my trade secrets here, not counting that I haven’t explained the displacement mapping in its full gory detail. The proceeds of all sales go to World Vision, an organisation dedicated to looking after children in Third World countries. .... The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor. So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. / If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. verses . 40-44of Corinthians Chapter 15 An Explanation of how this is done a tough one for sure, this is what we had to do. This work is a work where you take *one inch only of someones work and “make a picture to tie into that one inch” I made the whole first picture, and then sent her through email , one inch of it. / here is what she saw.. she then did the bottom half of what you see, I then sent her through email the top half and I did complete top half. she then Blended in the works to erase some of the horizontal distractions.. this is my complete picture, which I will share at another time F.A.
