I AM NOT AN ARTIST I AM JUST A MAN WHO PAINTS.L.S.LOWRY).... I have been painting as an amateur artist on and off for many years.I have over the years developed a very unusual use of colour and content, which I now know from experience appeal to many people, Including individual collectors and dealers. Newcastle upon Tyne England has been a hotbed of heavy Industry since the beginning of the industrial revolution, most of which has now gone forever. A lot of my paintings are recollections of youthful images of the period, late 1940s and 1950s. They are inspired by local naïve and primitive pitmen artists I am also an admirer of L.S.LOWRY, and the great American artist EDWARD HOPPER .AND GRANMA MOSES among others. The city can be a dark and lonely place for some, I thank my lucky stars that I’m not one… This concept came to me one morning just after waking up. This is when most of my ideas and imagery come to me. I’ve worn back the edges to further skew the image.

Psalm 30:5 is such a comforting verse, a reminder that grief has its season and then changes to gentler times. I would like to dedicate this to Bianca Thomas who lost her beloved husband. May you be comforted by the angels and strengthened as you grieve.

by LasarationTwo friends, one bathroom, a relationship thats as personal as yours. The story unknown the situation you probably have been through. Its the anti- Valentines Day card, its the “Thank you for being my Ex (card), now get …... (card)”. Its open to interpretation and invitation to being lost in translation. All relationships end up this way. You better accept it in art form before it goes and messes you up to the point of finding yourself on the couch!
