The stresses of life can sometimes make us feel unclear, torn and muddied. For me, this image communicates that. /

My friends mom is busy dying as we speak. / She was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago and has deteriorated so quickly that it is really hard to believe. / I love her very much and it hurts to see her withering away and feeling helpless in the process. / She is old and has lived a wonderful life, but that makes no difference. / This made me think about life and death and all of those loved ones who have come and gone before. I have been very fortunate not to have lost very many people in my life, but there are some who have lost many. / One knows the pain of loss will be there, but never ever wants to see someone else suffering, so one starts praying that they will be taken quickly and painlessly. A reminder to treasure life and those we love.
