My husband, Tommy, and I spent Valentine’s Day looking for interesting things to photograph. This duck at a local lake was flapping and preening vigorously; amazingly one of the shots I got froze the action of its wings as they were in a perfect heart-shaped form. Guess the duck was enjoying the spirit of the day just like we were! Happy Valentine’s Day one and all from us and the love duck!

Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris also performed the song as a trio on an episode of Parton’s 1976 variety show Dolly!
