  • Wood cut print on rice paper. Original artwork approximately 18” by 24”. Part of a series, life on wheels, done for a senior show at Cal Poly Pomona (California) in May 2008. Even at the end of life wheels have a part of our lives: gurneys and hearses! The 1954 hearse is a ‘wink’ to me as I was born in 1954.

  • Driver of horse drawn hearse

  • From my Last Haul Series.. This image speaks for itself.. Processed as a HDR it would make a beautiful card or picture to hang on any wall. Photographer / Robert Berry / Nikon D80 18-135mm Nikkor Lense

  • Its a little 80’s in its styling, but hey…thats what all the cool kids are wearing these days! hehe… *Contains one part hearse and a second part Hirst…and voila! Besides the big DH has such an obsession with death i’m surprised he hasn’t made one of these himself.

  • Happened upon a random funeral procession of someone of importance. This was back in 2003, I don’t recall who it was. This is from 2003 when i attended Focal Point – school of Visual Arts. Originally shot with Tungsten film, processed into slides. / Minolta 7000i, AF 28-85 Just came across my slides the other day and tried to scan them. That didn’t work . . so i put my digital Sony DHC-H10 on the tripod, with bright light against a white wall . . .on macro setting (since the pic in the slide is about the size of my thumb). / This was the result.

  • Nice ‘ol Hemi powered hearse rat rod… / Don’t know how much I would push it with those 1930 front wheels! / Cars & Coffee, Irvine, CA

  • An old Hearse, reminds me of Ecto 1 from Ghostbusters.

  • Detail view of a work in progress, a 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse, parked on Decatur Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans. The owner is trying to cover the entire surface with random and purposeful objects. This view features time, or the passing of time, including ancient central American calendars and countless watches. (actually one could count the watches if one had the time).

  • or so it says across the bottom of the bumper on this 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse parked on Decatur Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans. The rear window features a Grateful Dead logo head surrounded by slices of agate and pebbles… at least I THINK it was pebbles. If you are interested, call the number on the sign. This ride could be YOURS! / Note: the hand entering frame right is putting a donation in the box to help further the completion of the decoration. straight from the box:Nikon P80; 7mm; f/4.5; ISO 64

  • It says so on the front plate of this 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse parked on Decatur Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans. Most of the vehicle is covered by an assortment of objects, arranged thematically around the vehicle. Watches, Star Wars figures, jewelry, dice and many miscellaneous objects to grab and assault the eye and imagination. / There is never a dull moment in the French Quarter and one never knows what will appear next… straight from the box:Nikon P80;7mm;f/5;1/150 second;ISO 64 / featured in Cityscapes and City Skylines ~ ALL THINGS ‘CITY’

  • A close view of a 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse parked on Decatur Street in the French Quarter reveals that pilfering has occurred. Someone has actually taken watches from the side of this mobile work of art! To think of the hours that have already gone into this are staggering… to attempt to replicate the effort unthinkable. C’mon… how many covered 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearses does one world need?
