UNTOUCHED…JUST A YELLOW FILTER ADDED. / This was takeen at Lake L’Achigan,St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I was comming back from breakfast in the village where I live when I saw this scene ,I stoped ,couldn’t beleive that I wasn’t able to see on the other side of the lake.Heavy fog and soft light gave me the opportunity to do this image,I just love it ,makes me think of an old painting. If you look carefully ,you will see the other side’s shadow. The reflection was great because there were no fog in front of me just on the other side.A very foggy sunrise it was. When I did this shot it thought about «Water world» and how our the planet is beautiful even with a little piece of land. / / / /

The Freycinet Peninsula, slices across the horizon as sunrise clouds explode overhead and the tides crash against the lichen cover rocks.

A photo I took this week on a mild foggy morning.I saw that tree on the other side of the lake in the fog….5 minutes from my home…The straight light you see was the sun reflecting on the lake.I added an impressionnist effect … / L’Achigan lake in St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada. / A card for many occasions…. / /

Sunrise Moffat Beach
Love the low tide in this area, the beautiful green moss/weed gets exposed, and these little pools have so much life in them, trapped till the next tide. Noosa headland, in the Noost National Park, Queensland, Australia. Canon 50D, 10mm, 5pm.. Available Large, and best viewed LARGE!
I used to go with my mother at Point-au-Père along the St-Lawrence river just for evening and night before reaching Grand-Anse,New-Brunswich, the village where she grew up.I had long walks on those rocs when I was very young, when I saw the little church it all came back to me.I saw myself with my little sister Maryse and my brother Peter picking up rocs and shells and the sun was going down,I was 14 years old…souvenir …souvenir…..an untouched shot. / Better view larger. / Two world challenge:personnal and history / /
Love the low tide in this area, the beautiful green moss/weed gets exposed. Captured the standing paddle surfboard rider also, this is a fun sport too!! Noosa headland, in the Noost National Park, Queensland, Australia. Canon 50D, 14mm, 4:48pm.. Available Large, and best viewed LARGE!
Once again the sunrise was disappointing. Not wanting to waste the 5:30 AM start, I tried to find a good composition using these rocks and the headland, for when I get some ND filters and the surf gets up. I welcome any comments and constructive criticism. Turrimetta Beach NSW 28Jan 09 0635 DST Canon 450D ISO100 F25 1/3s f28mm

Moffat Headland Moonrise (Caloundra). This was the night of the recent eclipse. I was hoping to get some colours of the sunset coinciding with the moonrise but the clouds wouldn’t co-operate. I was happy though with the soft glow effect.

I took this photo while vacationing on the Gold Coast. This is a lovely little headland called Fingal Head. A cute little lighthouse sits on top of the headland and keeps watch over the ocean. The light you see in the sky is actually the moon (blown out) and the bright star to the right is Venus.
