  • A car with lights on makes it’s way across to Barwon Heads Bridge with a backdrop of a mauve and pink sunset sky. / The Barwon Heads wooden bridge is the longest in Victoria and hertiage listed.It spans the Barwon River providing access from Barwon Heads to Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula.Barwon Heads is the location for the TV series Sea Change. / In the distance is the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse and the entrace to the famous and treacherous “Rip” / Here the Barwon River river meets the sea just below the Bluff ,out to the right of this shot.

  • The current Bodie Island Lighthouse is the third that has stood in this vicinity of Bodie Island on the Outer Banks in North Carolina and was built in 1872. It stands 156 feet tall and is located on the Roanoke Sound side of the first island that is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The lighthouse is just south of Nag’s Head, a few miles before Oregon Inlet. Bracketed photo with 3 exposures and used Photomatix software to blend.

  • This was also taken of the same Harley in New Bedford MA, as I am staring at it I could help but to think it looked like a strange robot.

  • Our photography class went on a field trip to Sydney Harbour last week. We arrived at 9pm and left at 1 am, but what a lot of fun we had. Our wonderful teachers went with us and explained about lighting, white balance and night photography. This is my first night lights shot. For an amateur I was fairly happy with the results. What do you think? Taken with my Canon 40 DSLR on a tripod. white balance- auto, shutter speed- 2/5 sec, iso- 200, Fstop-7.1 / I have done some post editing in photoshop but not too much, Lunar park is a favourite of mine as I used to go there back in my younger days.
