While in Coralla, NC to check on my friends Beach House (Hurricane Noel was paying a visit), I drove up to Curritck to check on the Whalehead Hunt Club. Took this HDR image, which wasn’t easy to take multiple exposures with the wind howling. I was a little dissapointed to see that the Osprey’s nest is no longer on the far left chimney. I couldn’t really think of a title for this shot, I tend to really be bad at doing that and well, the title of this kinda just popped in my head….I was just getting ready to leave Washington Park in Denver, when I happened to glance over and noticed this, and it just sorta caught my eye, the color, the light, the symmetry of the whole scene…so I went ahead and swung my tripod around and shot a few of the scene. Processed in HDR, let me know what ya think! More of my work can be seen on my website at jdebordphoto.com
Old ruin in the peak district, this old place is about to fall down, there was nothing left of the rear.
An old barn of a derelict farm, that looks like its been used for hanging!! the ropes were swinging in the wind that was howling through, slates were scattered everywhere from the strong winds, quite a eerie feeling in here, would’nt want to be here in the dark!
This is Chatsworth House in the Peak District, probably the most photographed scene ever of this place with the bridge, i wanted to do this in colour but it was a slightly misty day, and did not look right so i opted for the old sepia look ans added a touch of film grain. Hope you like it.
Converted this image in HDR not sure which is the better one.

The oldest building of its type in Sheffield, Yorkshire UK. Built around 1500 and the building is now forms part of Meersbrook Park. There is no real evidence that Bishops actually lived there but thats the name that has been passed down the generations… The building really is as crooked as it looks on the left hand side… Find more info here See other photos on my NEW website at www.andyharris-photography.com * Click here to see some of my other Red Bubble categories Fuerteventura / Flowers / Autumn Collection / Paris / Wildlife / HDR / Skies / Clothing

Audley is a large, flat area at the base of one of the larger valleys in the park. The main road into the park from the north drops quickly from the heights to Audley, where it crosses the Hacking River on a weir before climbing up the other side of the valley to continue further into the park. Audley was developed in the late 19th century as a picnic area for Sydneysiders on a day trip. A large, heritage listed timber boathouse from that time still exists on the western bank of the weir and currently rents rowing boats and canoes to allow leisurely exploration of the upper reaches of the river. It also rents mountain bikes. Dawn-Sydney Harbour I’m am far from sure about this image. It’s overbaked for my liking. Howevever, it has a fascination for me. A bit like a train disaster. The image was created from two separate HDRs – one light, and the other dark – made from the same 7 exposures. Both of these images were then, themselves given the HDR treatment. The resulting image was dragged into PSE and fussed over with my usual bungling hammer and chisel approach using a limited repetoir of PSE tools and a dash – or 2 … or 3 … – of Topaz Adjust. Still… what do you do when you make an early start to catch a sunrise on the morning after a very wet and windy Sydney night and get the dank dawn that you really knew you would, and not the harbour sunrise shot to end all harbour sunrise shots? In my case, I set about creating 2 HDR … well you’ve read all that bit already… So, there you go … Sydney Harbour on a dank, windy, too lazy to rain even though it knew it should be sort of dawn with a big sodden dirty dishcloth of a cloud filling the sky, all tarted up like the brassy tart that Sydney is really .... I think I’m beginning to realise why this image fascinates me … :-) © Copyright – 2009 Jeff Catford / / Dawn – Sydney Harbour was featured in DSLR Users Only – 3 A Day May ‘09 / / Kit: / Nikon D200 – Sigma 10~20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM / Manfroto tripod / Nikon MC-36 Remote Exposure: / 10mm / f14×7 exposures – 1/250s ~ 1/4s Post Processing: / Photomatix (twice) with help from PSE – Topaz Adjust and the usual faffing about_ / - Possibly best viewed LARGE but it could get scary.
