  • Summer Snow
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This is another image from the series of infrared shots that I took from the banks of the local river today.. However instead of focusing on the water, I decided to turn around and shoot the hill behind me as I knew that the tree in the centre would turn out bright white compared to the rest of the trees and I knew the grass would turn out well.. / Hope you like it!

  • Deserted World
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.71–US$98.80

Yes I finally got my IR filter! This is the first shot I have taken with it so far, however as I took this this morning while rushing to work, I completely forgot to take a tripod or to set the white balance so I feel quite lucky it even turned out at all.. I just wish it wasn’t so overcast so I could have captured the dark infrared sky.. Sure it isn’t the best IR shot, but I have plenty of time to learn! Thanks for looking!

  • Amongst The Reeds
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This is one of a series of infrared shots that I took today from the banks of the local river.. / I thought the contrasts between the water, reeds, clouds and the sky turned out quite well.. / Hope you like it!

  • Tree lined
    by ozczecho

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Bank holiday….what do you do? As a sub contractor for a bank, I gladly accepted a day off and headed for the hills. Woke up really early and traveled out to the outskirts of Sydney. Had a great few hours of photography. I found this spot by accident. Nature called, so I had to pull to the side of the road. In the distance I noticed a gorgeous valley. I decided to try and find it. After a bit of trial and error bingo, another spot. • The Path To Winter
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This is my latest little foray into the world of IR photography.. After looking through my gallery I decided that I desperately needed to get out and take some more shots, especially infrared ones.. / This was taken down at the same place that my Deserted World image was taken. / It was unfortunately the only IR shot that worked out today because I stupidly forgot to set the custom WB before heading out and didnt realise til I had finished all my shots so I then quickly rushed this one before heading home. / I hope you like it and as with all my work comments are more than welcome, whether complimenting or critiquing. • Fishing Wreck
    by Peter Hill

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Fishing Wreck was shot in the morning fog from Dead Horse Bay on the Hawkesbury River, northern Sydney. Croppy Point can be seen in the right distance, Little Wobby Beach cannot.

  • There is nothing so beautiful as the sun slowly sinking and throwing off magical lights amongst the winter trees, casting a golden, shimmery glow on the landscape. Taken in late June on the Hawkesbury River at Wiseman’s Ferry NSW. This shot was taken by Phil Woodman with a Nikon D70S using a Sigma 50-500 mm lens.

  • Thirty-nine In Fog
    by Peter Hill

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Thirty-nine In Fog was shot in the early morning fog at the northern end of Parsley Bay at Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River, north of Sydney, Australia. Best viewed in large size – left-click on the image

  • Black Swans
    by GailD

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This one was taken earlier this year on an outing with Rosalie. I should have bm’d her to ask the name of the place. I think it was the Hawkesbury River. No doubt she will let me know. / I converted the colour image to B&W just to see how it looked & I liked it better.

  • Baiting The Hook Over The Wreck was shot in the morning fog from Dead Horse Bay on the Hawkesbury River, northern Sydney. Croppy Point can be seen in the right distance, Little Wobby Beach cannot. See also Fishing Wreck, which was taken a few minutes earlier.

  • one day, I decided I need to get out in the world. (this is a thing I have) So I did. I hopped on a train to discover a bit of new territory. Off up north. Really not very far, but it did open my eyes, and I enjoyed it.

  • Settlers Arms Inn # 1
    by George Petrovsky

    US$3.56–US$95.00

The Inn was opened in 1836 in St.Albans, to the NW of Sydney NSW Australia. / It stands on the banks of the Macdonald River, which flows into the mighty Hawkesbury. Less than 50 years after settlement by the English, Inns (or Pubs as we call them here) were springing up in the footsteps of the explorers. Shows where the priorities lay…and still do today! ;) For many buildings, I find the use of minimal Poster Edges in my lowly PSE3 / enhances the texture of the stonework.

  • Robbie Marshall
    by RBFilms

    US$3.71–US$98.80

  • Hawkesbury Sandstone
    by Rosalie Dale IPA

    US$3.71–US$98.80

The sun hits a piece of sandstone on the Hawkesbury River at Appletree Bay, Bobbin Head, on the northern outskirts of Sydney. This rock was widely used by the explorers, as they made their way up the River, to build houses, bridges, roads .. resulting in stunning masonry work. / Landscapes Trees Cards EOD Rusty Flowers Architecture Macro CatchAll DM

  • High And Dry

    US$22.80–US$121.60

Nothing like having an image that defies logic.

  • Settlers Arms Inn # 2
    by George Petrovsky

    US$3.56–US$95.00

Another view of the old sandstone Settlers Arms Inn at St. Albans – to the NW of Sydney, NSW Australia. Always a very popular watering hole with both locals and tourists! Once again, a mild form of Poster Edging in PSE3 has been used to accentuate textures.

  • Hawkesbury Refection
    by Bev Woodman

    US$3.42–US$91.20

This shot was taken in the late afternoon sun, looking out onto the Hawkesbury River just west of the Ferry crossing. The river was reasonably still despite the ferry movements and the deep colours of the sandstone walls above the river were mirrored in the water below.

  • A late afternoon sunset shot on the Hawkesbury River – very cool, dry afternoon produced this pretty glow – the boat moving across the water was an added bonus.
