The end of another day at Lake Illawarra. The pelican was a lucky inclusion, though he did hang around longenough to get a few shots taken.
Taken at the Hume weir, Albury, NSW, Australia. By the end of summer the weir was down to 3.4%, which I believe is the lowest that it has gotten since it was built. All summer we had threatening clouds roll through but none delivered on their promise, these ones being the same.

Something a bit different to my usual landscapes. This is a shipping container that was on a train parked at Albury station while I was sitting waiting for a train.

This is the Hume Weir taken from Huon Reserve on the way out to Tallangata. Although the weir is currently at 18% and in a better position then the last couple of years the situation is still quite dire for a lot of the country and farmers.
