I’m so tired, my mind is on the blink. / This scene stopped me in my tracks. Were they homless? Were they dead? They couldn’t be dead. They weren’t moving. It was so touching, they’d obviously biked in from out of town and feel asleep where they sat, son on his fathers lap.

My son and I found this beautiful butterfly yesterday…...... Such grace and such awesome beauty….......... Life, what a precious thing indeed….......... A typical adult is about 19 inches in length with an average wingspan of 29 inches. This is about three-quarters of the length of an adult Mallard. It shares its genus with the Asian Mandarin Duck. The adult male has distinctive multi-colored iridescent plumage and red eyes. The female, less colorful, has a white eye-ring and a whitish throat. Both adults have crested heads. When swimming, wood ducks bob their head back and forth in a jerking motion, which makes them easy to spot. Their breeding habitat is wooded swamps, shallow lakes, marshes or ponds in eastern North America, the west coast of the United States and western Mexico. They usually nest in cavities in trees close to water, although they will take advantage of nesting boxes in wetland locations if available. Found usually in rainforests, but ventures into adjoining eucalypt woodland to reach other areas of rainforest. Small flocks roost in tall rainforest trees. In the morning, small groups, noisly move out to feed on big fruiting trees. What a character this guy was – makes me smile just to look at him!

The Seven Sisters / Sussex / England This the view of the 1st 4 sisters as seen from Cuckmere Haven / East Sussex My favourite area near where I live is the Coast between Seaford & Eastbourne / I love the soaring chalk cliffs of Seaford Head & the Seven Sisters. / This is where the south downs meet the sea. There are only a few points of access to the beach. / Hope Gap, Cuckmere Haven,Birling Gap & Cow Gap The Seven sisters should not be confused with The white cliffs of Dover / which are about 70miles along the coast in Kent Challenge Winner “My corner of the World” in ” Happy Haven” Group ! !

Water from the ocean on a calm morning with no waves around the rock pools. Domes and architecture from buildings around Sydney. This is something I have always wanted to do…. sleep naked amongst the leaves, deep in a forest, knowing I was safe and protected by the tree spirits and the animals. No harm would come to me, and I would dream deeply of the Earth’s soul. The golden web of light bathing my body would fill me with great peace and joy and when I awoke I would know that I truly and rightfully belong. BEST VIEWED LARGE

My Website Original model image by my good friend Ademac / Landscape, post work and model: Me Rainforest Green Eight years ago this month / In a galaxy far, far away / I lay in a pool of blood / listening intently to a songbird calling out my name / directing my senses to another realm She was calling me away from where I lay / Sucking me away from a lucid pain / Transporting my soul / into her rainforest of lush green heaven / where spongy soft moss cushioned my filthy skin I bathed in her euphoric surrounds / gazing through fluffy white mist / and found myself mesmerised / by magical beams of sunlight / shining through my body, filling me with love Nearby, the trickle of a stream ran through my ears / cleansing my mind / With a purity so fine, it entered my blood stream / filtering poison until the residue dripped from my toes / seeping back into my safe green blanket of moss Her green paradise / cloaked me passionately, lovingly / protecting my worth / injecting prisms of warmth and trust / saving my soul With her thoughts through mine she said in time / whenever I see green my heart will survive / in the knowledge / that there will be no more pain / only love My brave new world could not last too long / and my songbird bid me farewell / but not before / she filled me with a sense of knowing / and of an amazing strength that would last me a lifetime As I opened my mind and returned to that room / his steely grey eyes / moved away from mine / Searing pain pierced through my spirit / and sheet lightning stabs cursed agonisingly inside Under a hot shower, far from my rainforest stream / I curled into a foetal ball / Stained red water splashed the walls / and far off somewhere in my senses / I could hear the songbirds call….
