Meg had fun posing, and Nanna had fun with the processing! Created with two photos and a few layers. Extracted the background from the legs, desaturated the colours, overlaid a photo of a texture and blended the background image through. Companion piece to Danse avec moi PUBLISHED in Australia’s Camera magazine January 2009 This image made Photo of the Day in the Photo Art category on http://www.shutterbugs.biz/ today (18 Nov 08) ... !!! This one I had on my ‘to do’ list for a while, but I kept putting it off because I knew it was going to be a challenge. / Once I started it however, it eventually came together bit by bit. / It is my daughter Chloe being her naturally radiant and colourful self. / For the first time i used no blending tools; no tissue, no paper stumps. This is all done with pencil strokes only!!! This is the one that the eye in Her Eyes Couldn’t Help But Be Drawn In… was the beginning of. Completed 28th February, 2009. / Mechanical Graphite pencils 3H, HB & 2B on Reeves A3 white paper.

Oils on canvas (50×70 cm) I had lots of fun painting this scene of three brothers hard at work on the beach… One little fellow is trying hard to remove clay and sand from the hole they dug but ends up dropping half his spadeful back into the water… Another little brother huffs and puffs his way up to the pool but his bucket is always half full by the time he reaches it… And the oldest brother… well, judging from the grin, he must be the ‘supervisor’... This painting was done at request from Lisa Wilson and the three brothers are her little sons. I used different photographs and with different poses to make up a story for this painting!! I hope you like it Lisa!!

Taken at the Minnesota Zoo. A rather bitter cold day but patience and frozen fingers paid off. A split second and she was right side up. I am very happy with this photo.

Emilie Autum. A rat in her tea cup…full of decadent Absinthe. Rat modeled after the rats my sister and I had when we were younger. Hers had the markings like this on, but mine had the colour. Thier names wew Butter and Popcorn. Original non? ha ha What can I say…we were young. 8×10.5 / Pens.

Just foolin round with a redfield plugin demo called expessionist. My daughter might not have liked it, but I had lotsa fun. I laughed so much i could hardly breathe and my tears rolled from my eyes. LOL
