The Cuckoo Haus fun ride at the Clay county fair in beautiful Barnsville, Minnesota. Took the wife and the kids to the fair for the day. It was a bit gloomy but we had a great time. Hot dogs, mini donuts… Had to bring the camera of course as there is always something interesting to shoot at a fair! Processed as a HDR it would make a beautiful card or picture to hang on any wall. The amazing house being born behind the handcrafted (and now slowly disintegrating) Torii Gateway is a testament to the quiet genius of the man who designed them both —including the long completed habitation in the furthest background that is his home in Western Massachusetts. What is vital about the new construction that he has named GroWorld is that it sits atop a 170+ ton structure called a Thermal Anchor, something that, along with the unique architecture of the rest of the building, will enable it to maintain a relatively stable, constant temperature year ‘round —without the use of fossil fuels for heating or cooling. GroWorld will also have a fabulous atrium/greenhouse at back (seen here, through the Torii) that may have raised permaculture beds resting on paramagnetic earth, along with hydroponic systems, for growing high quality organic food all year! —Enough to feed everyone in the home! Eye am truly excited about this project and am helping to build it myself. We need more projects like GroWorld; all over the World … Aloha!

In 1968, my husband, Lynn Rosevear, started a small business in Buena Park for Volkswagen accessories. It eventually grew to 17 retail stores throughout California, with stories written in VW trends magazine and an off-road racing team as well. / This is a photograph of the AutoHaus logo designed by Dave Deal (remember ‘Deals Wheels’ – had a few of those hotwheels – hehehe), the business unfortunately went south (long story), but the memories are still spoken of with the entire family… VW

As you ascend the latter, these views open up.The Scafell range, Scafell on the left and Scafell Pike on the right, the 2 highest mountains in England.(Scafell Pike being the higher although a long time back they thought Scafell was the higher) / I loved the shadows of the clouds scudding across the fells. / Sony Alpha 350 DSLR & 18-70 Lens, single RAW tonemapped in Photomatix
