“Yesterday upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn’t there. / He wasn’t there again today. I wish that he would go away.” Nursery Rhyme

Another in my series of the Old General Hospital. This is of the interior hallway leading into the bowels of the sinister and dark sanitorium. I didn’ t have a flashlight becasue this was spur of the moment. So I had to use my camera flash to illuminate the long dark hallways that have many rooms and other halls leading from this main corridor. I crept along hugging the wall working my way deeper into the dungeon like structure. My imagination was going wild as I visualized the scenes of countless horror movies and their macabre scenes. I could almost feel the horror of its previous occupants as the darkness enveloped me; yet I dared go a little further just to get that picture of what lay beyond… / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography /

Located about 10km north-east of Dorchester, Athelhampton House is a Tudor manor reputedly haunted by an ape (!), a cooper and the Grey Lady. It was built by Sir William Martyn in 1485 and surrounded by a 160 acres deer park. The most impressive features are the original 15th-century Great Hall and State Bedroom, and especially the formal, walled gardens. The house stayed in the Martyn family until 1595, then successively changed hands until 1957, when it was acquired by Robert Victor Cooke. His grand-son, Patrick Cooke, and his wife have been overseeing the operation at Athelhampton since 1995. Athelhampton’s most famous ghost is that of the Martyn family’s pet ape. When Nicholas Martyn died in 1595, the ape roamed the house searching for its new master only to find four surviving daughters. It is said that the animal can be heard scratching behind the panelling in the Great Chamber where it is trapped in a secret staircase. The two other ghosts are that of a Civil War cooper tapping on barrels in the Wine Cellar, and that of the Grey Lady, which passes through the walls of the East Wing to the State and Yellow Bedrooms. :) more info HDR – Photoshopped Featured In: My Child’s Art / Experimental Photography & Editing / Dorset, England

This abandoned building is located in Nelson, New brunswick. I’m not sure what this building was used for, I can’t find any history on it online. / It has a sign that reads; LOL No 147 and the year of the building is 1906. It was definitely creepy though! -cross processed /
It was a wrong turn down a dirt road, you had a bad feeling as you traveled down it..no houses in sight, finally you come across a old rickety building, you have to stop because you are so lost. / As you walk up to the door you can feel someone watching you, everything in you is screaming turn around..RUN..you climb the stairs and knock..a bit of relief settles in when no one answers, as you turn around to head back to your car, the door flies open behind you and you are thrown into a living hell. The old chapel window at the now abandoned Fremantle Prison, I wonder how many found their salvation here …... Camera – Panasonic FZ30 A bit of info - / Fremantle Prison is a former Australian prison located in The Terrace, Fremantle, in Western Australia. The site includes the prison, gatehouse, perimeter walls, cottages, tunnels, and prisoner art. It was built by convict labour in the 1850s, and transferred to the colonial government in 1886 for use as a gaol for locally-sentenced prisoners. It closed as a prison in 1991 and reopened as a historic site. It is now a public museum, managed by the Government of Western Australia with daily and nightly tours being operated. Some tours include information about the existence of ghosts within the prison.
New to the neighborhood Jimmy knew he had to do the dare, or life would be hell, he never should have played the stupid Truth or Dare game, but he went along any way, wanting to just fit in. Being new he didn’t know the stories that were told about this place.. He told himself “Man Up, its only 15 minutes in a old abandoned house“..as he climbed the stairs he could feel the goosebumps on his arms raise..he opened the door and walked in..the door slammed shut behind him…screaming he ran to the door..pulling..yanking ..the door wouldn’t budge, he could hear the kids outside laughing and mocking him..all he could think about is getting the hell out of there, he didn’t care anymore about fitting in…the silence in the house was deafening, it hurt his head and ears..then he saw it ..pure hell floating towards him..at first he couldn’t move his legs for what seemed like forever, he finally got his footing and headed straight for the window, no thoughts of the glass that would shatter around him and cut him to shreds ..just the need to be out of here..jumping through the window he landed hard knocking the wind from his lungs….his eyes fluttered open, the fog of his brain clearing, relief spreading through him as he realized he was on his bedroom floor..a dream..thank god just a dream..still shaken he picked himself off the floor, then he heard the laughter, as he turned he seen the faces of those neighborhood kids..dead eyes..melting faces….TRUTH OR DARE Jimmy?? Deep in the forest the ooze of horror floods the atmosphere, a baby sleeps, cradled in it’s pram by an open window.. the baby wakes and cries loudly, the parents think it’s colic but baby knows better.. Experimenting quite late around 3am with almost every conceivable technique was used to create this.. / I hope you like it… Scary Dreams was featured: /

The original of this painting is traveling to Portugal! For some reason I’m very excited about that
It’s so very hard to comprehend what my late Uncle endured in this hell house before he lost his mind. My brain is racing and I’m so tired from the lack of sleep. These horrifying images are consuming me. What an unspeakable sight they are, I feel them clawing at my mind and eating at my very being. “Oh ok”, the third image is about to develop, “MY WHAT EVER IS HOLY”!!! Give me a second to catch my breath; my heart is thumping so hard it feels that it’s going to burst through my chest. I’ll try to my best ability to describe this image. It’s like this ghoul is guarding the doorway, and it seems so very old, I shall call this thing from Hell “The Elder”. “My I’m feeling so tired and dizzy I feel like I’m about to pppass ooouut”…………………… Best viewed large Featured / The Story 1 The Haunted / 2 / The Haunted 2 / 4 / The Haunted 4 5 / “The Haunted 5”: http://www.redbubble.com/people/frogster/art/3820162-2-the-haunted-5-the-sacrifice Image copyright © 2009, Larry Fridel. It was a game to him, it was a hunt..a hunt for the perfect victim, they wouldn’t even have a clue, not a chance for escape, he didn’t look the type, he was handsome, charismatic, the women found him irresistible, he didn’t even have to try to persuade them to come home with him.. She was perfect..beautiful, petite, full of life, after a few drinks and some conversation he had her in his spell, flirting, and complementing her, she was putty in his hands..he could feel the excitement race through his veins as he walked her to his truck..when they pulled up in front of the building, he seen the realization come across her face..her fear only excited him more..she grabbed the door handle ready to flee..but he was too quick and had her by the hair..dragging her out the drivers side door screaming, she fought him with all her strength, kicking, biting, but he wasn’t even fazed by her blows..as he climbed the stairs and slid open the door, he smiled..knowing that the Final Steps in this game were about to begin. Arguably one of the loveliest beaches in Australia, Little Beach is on the Southern Ocean coast some 450 kms south of Perth and about 25 kms east of Albany. When we first discovered it back around 1972 the only access was by a badly corrugated gravel track of some 12 kms in length. Then the neighbouring Two People Bay achieved fame following a visit by the Duke of Edinburgh and the shire decided it was time to seal the road, but they still left a 2 kms stretch leading to Little Beach unsealed. However, about 6 or 7 years ago the decision was made to seal it so now there is an excellent approach road. The only problem is that it is still 12 kms off the main drag with the result that the vast majority of travellers roar past the turning with absolutely no idea of what they have missed. Sad for them but great for those of us who have enjoyed a long love affair with the beach and would hate to see it fall prey to the havoc reeked by thousands of tourists. So now we have a situation where it is easy to get to, there is plenty of parking space, great fishing and swimming – and it still remains Albany’s best kept secret.
