Question My Existence
by Paul Louis VillaniThis is my plight with time / Gaining momentum. / This is the reason why, / I still question my existence.
Words that were written at a time when I was struggling with self-acceptance. As hard as we sometimes try to change what’s looking back at us from the mirror, the less success we have. The older I get the less I’m affected by self-consciousness but there was a time when I was ill at ease with the whole image thing / . Bits & Pieces
by Paul Louis VillaniBits and Pieces…

Lord, Please Tell Me

The inspiration behind this song came from four passages in the Bible: Leviticus 18:22 / John 3:16 / 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 / 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 This song was also meant to be sung to the tune of Elisa’s “Una Poesia Anche Per Te” Probably one of the most personal things I’ve ever written… I’m sure most everyone will realize exactly what I’m talking about in this song without me having to spell it out… getting it out of my system this way is cathartic in a way I can’t even begin to describe. If you want to ask me anything about this song, feel free – I still feel the need to talk about it with anyone who has any sort of idea what I’ve dealt with these past 21 years…
