Schoolgirls in a snaking line. Taken in the Rocks area of Sydney. Won People category in Black and White Spider Awards 2005
This shot was taken in Copacabana in 2006, a little town in the north of Bolivia, situated on the bank of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800 mts. / There was a big celebration in town that day and so much to see and discover. But I was so tired that I decided to sit down and rest for a while when those two men sat just in front of me. I took so many pictures of them but this one is my favorite. Click /

Grim Reaper – noun / the personification of death. [Origin: 1925–30] Old Slavic tribes viewed Death as a woman in white clothes, with a never-fading green sprout in her hand. The touch of the sprout would put a human to an everlasting sleep. This image survived Christianization well into the Middle Ages, only being replaced by the more traditional European image of a walking skeleton as late as in the 15th century. Death as a sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of recorded history. In Western cultures, death is usually given the name, the “Grim Reaper”, and shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe, and wearing a midnight black gown, robe or cloak with a hood, or sometimes, a white burial shroud. Usually when portrayed in the black-hooded gown, only his eyes can be seen.

They where waiting for the local liquorshop to open, In Fitzroy is now a ‘ban’ on alcohol, they told me, so Fitzroy Crossing is now a ‘dry’ Community Miss. / Broome, Western Australia. / Today I received an email stating; CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMAGE ‘TYPAN’ is one of 55 images from the PEOPLE & PLANET International Photo Competition. to be published in the 2009 People&Planet; Social Justice & Enviroment Diary, which will be published this month in Australia (2009). / We thought that your image was incredible, and it won from a pool of OVER 1000 images from 316 photographers from around the World! / All funds raised by the People&Planet diary go to Australia’s small non profit organisations which are working to promote social-justice and environmental substainability around the world. / / watched 802 times 7-11-09

pencil on watercolor paper drawing (archival matted and framed original for sale – email if interested) Drawing size is 22” x 22”. This was done last year but it’s never seen the public yet. It’s currently hanging in our bedroom. I don’t know if this is a good thing as I awaken with its question and I fall asleep wondering too. Self Portrait. I’ve become a bit of a solitaire addict as of late, so I guess you could call this my Guilty Pleasure!! / Experimenting with my new wireless remote, which is a bitch to use by the way. This is my White Rabbit photo for my Alice in Wonderland Series, it’s not quite the same style, so I haven’t made a big thing out of it, just tacked it on the end. But yes. It’s the white rabbit. Canon 450D. No geeky stuff, I can’t be bothered, it’s not like you miss it. ...I must admit though, I didn’t take the picture of the cards (shock horror!!) because I couldn’t find any.
