Some photo-shop layer. I just really like this image at the moment. / Unfinished work in process. Really just a layer from another image that i want to clean up and take further. Only just started playing with photo-shop so any comments, help and advice would be welcome. SaRaH x This image is to accompany My short story, / Love & the darkness. LoVe & The DarKneSS Maybe it was always dark ? She wasn’t sure? It had been so long ago. The silver light had died so low that she could barley remember what it even looked like? Couldn’t remember it even ever being warm!? There where glimmers as it faded. Sometimes even bright bursts! / And so she had hope. She had faith that she would feel something again. She had so much faith! / She tended to the flame, but she was growing weaker. She was always trying to keep the flame burning but the cold darkness was never going to let it burn as bright as it could. She always knew she was going to be drained and did not have enough energy to keep the flame burning in such a world. Did he think her flame was big enough to burn up his darkness? That her hart was strong enough to bare his coldness? Her skin thick enough!? / Yes, the darkness chose LoVe because she shone pure & true in his dark lonely world. But he kept her in the end because he came to know she was soft, delicate & fragile so he didn’t have to be afraid of her outshining his power. He would always have the power. She could never hurt him as much as he could hurt her …............... Never! Because she was LoVe and he was the cold darkness, brittle and callous, with a greedy pornographic appetite that slowly ate away at LoVe. He would feast on whores every morning while LoVe lay wasted and dying. She remembered how he had seemed to really care about the flame on occasion, like he may really have been trying to help her shine and not just concerned with helping himself to her radiant body so that he could feel more powerful in his pornographic world? She just hadn’t realized this at the time because he was so powerful and she had already been drained by another darkness. He so sure of himself in his punk world that she could not possibly believe that he had had to use and abuse others to gain satisfaction, to gain anything that made him feel good about himself. To gain what he thought was a good life? She really thought he might love her? That he liked her for more than what her body could offer. He started to make beautiful things when he was with her, rather than the dark things he had spent so much time making when he was alone and it seemed he wanted to grow in a positive way, rather than recycle the past, recycle the hate, recycle the resentment and ignorance of the father who held women in contempt. Maybe the memories she thought had been so precious and real were not real at all? / But she must have seen something? Something more than lust? Something more than his punk power? She must have? Because otherwise she would have never have gone with him across the desert to live with his family. To meet the farther. To give him her everything. To shine for him, trusting that he would shine for her when she was drained & down. He did not. She had no strength left, because she had given it all to him and she couldn’t shine any more …............................................. The Pornographic darkness prevailed for many years. / Dragging LoVe down into the cold DiRt, he sucked her dry, stole her energy and had eaten up all of her beauty for himself ! He spat hate into her face day after day, night after night. / Her hart on her sleeve, she had foolishly trusted would be safe. It wasn’t. / The object lay quivering like the dying, tortured, wrecked body of a little mouse that a cat had left to die, finished entertaining itself with the small object. Like the cat, the pornographic darkness had not really ever wanted to kill love, he had just wanted to play and entertain himself. To feel satisfied and powerful. / If LoVe had understood, that to the darkness her hart was nothing more than a shinny, sexy new toy to use and abuse, then when he had had his fun discard like a cheap, useless, dirty worn out piece of sex stained plastic, she would have never have given him her full, true hart …................. / Now she was left behind in his cold nothingness, she was broken, confused and alone. She thought she was dead !? / LoVe & Beauty had disappeared into the cold darkness, where nothing could be seen, felt or heard. / The pornographic nightmare was all consuming …................. / Bleeding his black, lost, hurt and humiliated, she could hardly breathe, she felt sick, like her body had been poisoned. It seemed hopeless to try and stand up, let alone take any steps. Where would she go? She was so weak and tired, the thought of having to get up and move forward with out being slammed right back down again by the over bearing, seemingly all powerful darkness exhausted her. The realization of how thin and delicate her only skin was frightened her. How could she protect herself ? How could she stand up and walk when she was so damaged, so very fragile? She had not had enough time to recover her precious hart. The darkness was still there. He had returned and was as vicious and nasty as ever …..................... It seemed now, that he really was hell bent on destroying her completely !!!! This time he wanted to really kill her !!!! He wanted to kill LoVe !!!! she pulled herself up out of the thick black heavy tar that was his hart. Thick sticky black substance rolled off her damaged translucent porcelain skin. / LoVe stood up and started to shine …........ SaRaHKnOwDoG, 2008

Hi This shot was made at a round of the SDA ( scottish downhill accociation ) that was held at Innerliethen, Scotland. I have a huge collection of these type of shots. The reason being, that riders always want to see themselves up in the air and pulling stylee’ whips etc, none like it much over root sections or twisty bits. This normally leads to me standing in one spot alot. Well, that was until i got fed up ( bout a year ago ) and now move around more, so much so that i cant stand about to long. Theres to much to photograph when you look :) Thanks for taking the time to look Stevie .............................................................................................................................................. Camera Settings >> Exposure Mode >> Manual / Shutter Speed >> 1/320sec Hand held / Aperture >> F/5 / Focal Length >> 135mm Info It was shot in RAW and later converted in Photoshop CS2. Adjustment were levels, curves and colour correction. It was then saved as a Tiff for storage and a JPEG for here. ..............................................................................................................................................

The Corn Market The architecture of Wimborne is regarded as one of the foremost collections of 15th, 16th and 17th century buildings in Dorset. Local planning has restricted the construction of new buildings in areas such as the Corn Market and the High Street, which has preserved almost all of the original buildings. The most interesting examples of English architecture include the centuries-old Wimborne Minster, the Town Hall, the Priest’s House Museum and dozens of original 16th, 17th and 18th century fronted shops and pubs. The town is also home to the Tivoli Theatre, a 1930’s art deco cinema and theatre. Date: 28th June 2008

Watercolour on paper. 2007. / / / / Kevin Charles “Pro” Hart MBE (May 30, 1928 – March 28, 2006), born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He was nicknamed “Professor” (hence “Pro”) during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor. Hart worked in the Broken Hill mines as a young man and, although he began painting at the age of seven, twenty-seven years were to elapse before his first exhibition at the Bonython Gallery, Adelaide, in 1962. He started painting full time in 1958. An artist whose paintings figure in collections all over the world, Pro Hart always remained closely attached to his homeland and continued to live in Broken Hill, where he established his own art gallery to show his works and those of other well-known Australian artists. He was probably prouder of being five times winner of the Broken Hill Art Prize than of all the successful showings he has had overseas. The latter included in the 1970s and 1980s, exhibitions in England (three paintings were bought by HRH Prince Philip), United States (one was added to the White House collection), Israel, and Egypt. His pictures are typically Australian outback landscapes, scenes of rural town life, topical commentary and some religious subjects. His illustrations for the collection of Henry Lawson’s poems show keen powers of character observation combined with a humorous wit. Some who he quipped were the ‘art mafia’ , have called his style populist and derivative. Fred Nile related that “Pro Hart often explained to me that he believed the Holy Spirit of Almighty God and Jesus Christ gave him the inspiration for his paintings. He said he could see the completed painting before he started. He then usually would paint all night until the painting was complete.”[1] He once named his recreations as Bible and organ music. He was the proud owner of a Rodgers electric pipe organ, which was said to be the largest of its kind in Australia. This was installed in his gallery, a step which considerably enhanced its value as a Broken Hill tourist attraction. He was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1976. He received an Australian Citizen of the Year award in 1983. He was known for his charitable work and generosity. Pro Hart was known for his novel techniques including Canon Painting1 and Balloon Painting2 and in 2002 was using his own DNA as a mark of authenticity in his paintings3. Retrospective application of a DNA mark is available for older Pro Hart paintings. Pro Hart developed motor neurone disease in later life. He died in the early hours of 28 March, 2006. He had been unable to paint for the last six months of his life. A large state funeral was held for him on April 4, 2006 in Broken Hill, this was the first state funeral in New South Wales to be held west of the Blue Mountains. He was laid to rest in the Broken Hill cemetery. source: wikipedia.org / / / / New original art listed every Sunday night in my eBay store
