I cannot in truth claim any credit for this, but wanted to share it none the less.
Definately one for you to make your own mind up on…
The is a photograph I found in my loft. It is a treasured moment captured by my Father. Its probably the kind of shot that thousands – millions of people have but the look on my face is so how I remember feeling when I was overjoyed about something. I could have cleaned it up a bit but I think leaving the staining and the creases etc place the shot in its place in time I do hope its allowed to exist here even though it not by me – I want to celebrate it with you….. Thanks!
A reworking of the ideas in my print and tee ‘Millenial Gathering’
Digital Photo Montage I’ve been re-assessing this lately. I didn’t originally put in on my own website – partly as certain elements made it into other pictures and I wasn’t certain if it worked, so I’d love some constructive criticism on this one… It was directly inspired by my love of the films of Stanley Kubrick – especially 2001 – particularly the symetry in his compositions. 20th century Genius – no question. One of my questions was, ‘am I copying Stanley Kubrick (by vertically stacking my elements) or am I making a tribute’... Acrylic on Canvas The original painting is available on my website This small series started almost by mistake when my daughter asked me for some canvas and paint for Christmas – so to get her inspired I started working with her. Its not really my medium as it so hard to keep it crisp, but they work somehow. Monkey and its baby – in the Kruger park in South Africa
My two sisters as we hit the beach… I’m not sure if this works or not but i keep being drawn back to it… Well enjoy or not – C’est la guerre!!!!!
My nephew. A happy moment – such a great kid. Thank you to Joshua for like Sally being an element in ‘The last Sandcastle’
This image formed the base element of the print ‘Improbably but Entirely Possible’ in my art section, but this has a beauty of its own.

Acrylic on Canvas This painting was made – contrary to the comments on the other paintings – as an antidote to the lengthy process of creating my prints. A painting which would be finished not so much quickly but which would emerge quickly, still s stream of consciousness, but somehow more cathartic… The original painting is sold please visit my website for details of others. Its perhaps a cliche as a ‘decisive Moment’ to have a child on a swing at fullstretch. The point here is that the swing was minimal, about a foot either side of vertical, but her little feet were jiggling a nd shaking with glee even though her expression is a little uncertain…
This was in the Kruger National Park, South Africa – literally as we were about to leave, not 100 yards from the exit
Apparantly on a clear day you can see 100 miles from this point… unfortunately they are about one in fourteen… Its still has a sweeping drama I have rarely seen equalled.

This is my younger sister. I’m not sure whose eyes she’s got but I’ll ask her to given them back straightaway…. So sorry very old joke… (Illustrated as a large print in a brilliant white matte with a black flat frame – click on buy/preview to see alternative options available)
