  • A second image of my daughter Sonya taken two years ago. Sonya was just playing with the splashes and it was very warm and sunny. Then, did not know a storm was approaching. In fact, storms are quite rare on the Black Sea mid- August, but on the next morning we were experiencing a Grade 6 tempset. What a great time I had capturing it all from every angle! By the way, tornados are quite frequent there, but late-August or in June. The place we stay almost every summer is not crowded and still wild and is about a two-hour train ride from Sochi and a five-minute ride from Tuapse.

  • That Harp is one of the musical instruments that has tones of evocative bottled up feelings. I was inspired from the Irish symbol “Celtic Harp”, or ” Brian Boru Harp” Hope you had a chance to feel it….......:-)

  • “THE STORY OF DESTINY She was separated from her Mother who had escaped into the frigid waters, during the terrifying confusion of the seal hunt. Meanwhile the Baby floated away alone, on a tiny raft of pack ice. She drifted throughout the night, desperately calling for her Mother. Morning came and found her miles from where the humans had caused such panic the day before. After many hours of lonely despair, the two loving Harp Seals found each other; finally safe from the reach of the fishermen! Reunited again, the Mother in her gratitude, named her miracle child “Destiny”. ~ Skye Ryan-Evans © ~ This beautiful image and story was created to protest the annual seal hunt and to raise awareness of the beauty and gentleness of our precious Harp Seals. Not only are they endangered by rising ocean temperatures, but they also suffer huge losses at the hands of seal hunters every year. It’s time such barbaric activities were stopped immediately. 25% of all sales benefit the great harpseals.org. Thank you for caring about endangered wildlife.

  • “She’s in our Hands” is a painting with combined digital painting elements, that was created to raise awareness and funding in the interests of protecting the precious Harp Seal, particularly from Canadian Seal-hunters. “She’s in our Hands”. Also features the popular “Animal Decree” poem by Skye Ryan-Evans. 50% of proceeds from sales goes towards Harpseals.org. Thank you for helping us to help them. ~ Skye Ryan-Evans © ~

  • “The comet foretells the coming of a miracle. / The day when humans no longer hunt Harp Seals, / but acknowledge them as precious companions / on our voyaging planet.” ~ Skye Ryan-Evans © ~ 25% proceeds from sales benefit the great Harp Seal protection group Harpseals.org, in their ongoing efforts to prevent the annual Canadian Seal Hunt. This modern-day barabaric activity by sealers and fishermen, that is sanctioned by the archaic Canadian Government, has been proven by scientists and veterinarians on the ice, to be cruel, inhumane and unnecessary. There is also no need for any seal by-products in this age of amazing high tech synthetics that mimic fur etc. I propose they ban the seal hunt immediately!! Thank you for caring. / ~ Skye

  • A medieval piece of a young lady leaning against a tree playing a lyre. The lyre is modeled after one I built of mahogany…the same lyre also appears in the ceiling mural “Four Seasons”. Both the painting and the lyre are gone, the painting stolen and the lyre destroyed in an accident while in storage. This image and the butt plate from the lyre are all that I have left. This image appeared earlier on Redbubble, but was deleted and reloaded to move it to the front of the order.
