This is a very interesting Sporster Harley Davidson Motorcycle. I met the owner Don last summer at a MC Ralley in Hopedale, Ohio 2007. / He custom made his Sportster with all his daughter assessories from her live pony. His daughter is now in her 30’s…The seat is of a real saddle for a pony, he has many very interesting gagets hanging and mounted to his bike. Such as feathers, beer caps , bandannas, mounted on the axels, a childs bike horn, brass coins, alot of brass everywhere, old antique goggles mounted to the head light, ect…It took me about a half of hour to pick apart his bike and i took many photos of this rare looking machine! / As we parted he mounted his bike and at his age of 68, he started to kick start it, and it took him a while, kicked up a sweat, no push button automatic start! As he rode away, he rides standing up! A must see…That’s how he caught my attention. / I will post more shots of this fine looking machine. / Thanks for looking. Luuezz / Greeting Cards, Birthday Cards, Thank-you Cards. Whatever the occasion send beautiful images, hand-picked from the RedBubble Artist Luuezz. This was taken on a road trip with my wife. Luckly the fellow was o.k. with me taking his picture when he came along aside us. All effects were created with Adobe.

Here is a flathead, they made these from 36-45, tank shift, foot clutch. 45 cu inch. It was the bike made most famous in all your favorite old war movies. It was used in WWII as a dispatch/ messenger bike. It was phased out late in the war in favor of the Jeep. A lot of them ended up in civilian hands and were stripped down and raced, or repainted to civilian colors. This was the bike that the original “bobbers” were named after. The race guys would bob the fender by taking off the front fender and putting it on the rear. It made tire changes at the race track alot faster.
Very rarely these days do you see a kickstart on something other than a dirtbike – and what other than an engine could be considered the heart of a motorcycle? In this instance, art trancends practicality and what you really have is a rolling sculpture capable of boosting heart rates and imaginations!

Out to lunch in New Bedford MA and came across this fantastic Harley Davidson. I thought the reflection on top of the paint job was rather ironic, there’s me, my son to the left, and the mommy mobile, seemlessly flowing through a flaming skull.
