  • Glimpses of yesteryear are portrayed in this black and white shot of the city.

  • I adore Sydney at night. This was me tripod-less one night at Circular Quay… I’m still tripod-less to this day. Long exposures kill me. Hehehe.

  • Colourful houses stacked onto the hillside around Brixham harbour in Torbay, South Devon, with the setting sun perfectly complimenting the illuminated shopfronts on the harbourside. A single trawler is moored beside the quay safely home from a day of fishing. The fishermen had their catch of the day, as did I. View the rest of our portfolio here Or visit our own website here

  • Late afternoon sun going down and standing on the reverse side of the Causeway to Granite Island South Australia. The light shining through under the structure from the setting sun was quite vibrant especially with the backdrop of a brooding winters sky. I know I have many images of this on my site but I just love the way it changes with every visit. Plus having my fathers ashes spread off the Causeway makes this a special place to visit. HDR merge of three images within photoshop.

  • Last light again, looking South from the Causeway at Victor Harbor along the Esplanade across the ocean. Quite dark and brooding but available lighting was troublesome here. Canon 400D, HDR and adapted in Photomatix 2.5. Best Viewed large.

  • Sunrise colours reflected in the beautifully calm harbour at Brixham, in South Devon, England. View the rest of our portfolio here Or visit our own website here

  • Another from my series of the Causeway at Victor Harbor South Australia – heading over to Granite island. Late afternoon light and the powerful storm came in from the Bluff. Canon 400D – Panorama stitch in Photoshop CS3.

  • Back to my favourite spot to catch first light reflecting off of the Causeway beams. As the sun rises this side of the Causeway is often highlighted, showing the features and grain of the timbers. The Causeway joins the Victor Harbor mainland with Granite Island. As many of you know this spot is a regular of mine as many years ago we followed my fathers wishes and spread his ashes alongside this structure, his favourite fishing spot!!! Quite a bold and stormy sky in the background for this one which seems to complement the foreground highlights. Canon 400D, HDR – 2 shot merge in Photomatix.

  • This image placed 6th in the sunrise/sunset challenge on July 19, 2009. The harbor at sunset in Charleston, South Carolina. On the other side of the harbor is Battery Park which became a public park in 1837 and is a beautiful place to stroll through large oak trees. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Please do not copy or download this image. • This is one of the Scarborough belles statues, of which at the moment I think there are two, representing the role of women in society, both past and present. This is the one on the Harbour and looks out to sea from underneath the lighthouse. Scarborough can be seen climbing up from the shore line. Shot in North Yorkshire

  • Fiery morning sunrise at Encounter Bay Victor Harbor South Australia. Pelicans sitting on the rocks welcoming the new day. Canon 400D – 17 -85 lens CIR Polariser.

  • The last thing of safety and the first sight of safety for sailors, the harbour light. Taken in South Shields with Tynemouth behind this part of the harbour wall at the mouth of the River Tyne Converted into a black and white pinhole effect and best viewed large

  • My great friend Jo in reflective mood on the harbour wall at the mouth of the River Tyne in South Shields. While over time, many a lass will have stood here wondering if her loved ones would return from the sea, Jo is more likely to be wondering when she can next get out there on a tall ship.

  • This broken ironwork stands against the might of the North Sea on the harbour wall at the mouth of the River Tyne at South Shields. Converted into black and white pinhole effect

  • The view looking back along the coast of South Shields, starting with Marsden Bay and it’s stacks, past the Lees, into Sandhaven Beach and finally the estuary and harbour walls of Tynemouth with their lighthouses. This shot was the last on a wonderful day along this section of the coast and seemed to sum up all of the features and the clouds. Converted into pinhole black and white Best viewed large
