  • NYE fireworks light up Sydney Harbour.

  • Vibrant, flamboyant panting of the colorful homes and harbours found in the Atlantic Canada provinces and in the Maine, New England areas. I spent many vacations with my family in these beautiful quarters and there is something so heart warming about the architecture, harbours, the many seaside shops, cafes, and restaurants; and of course the beautiful ocean and all the fishing boats and seagulls. It reminds me of summer and the way it should be.

  • A pencil drawing of the New york skyline by Brooklyn Bridge. This took over a year to draw…and I enjoyed every second :)

  • Glimpses of yesteryear are portrayed in this black and white shot of the city.

  • I adore Sydney at night. This was me tripod-less one night at Circular Quay… I’m still tripod-less to this day. Long exposures kill me. Hehehe.

  • / . / Sydney Skyline Panorama from North Sydney / Please view large photo to appreciate panorama fully

  • Although they (the City of Sydney) do a great job every year, I think putting a large beating heart on the bridge was one of their best ideas to date. That, and ‘Eternity’. I also like how, if you look along the left of the top of the arch, you can just see the tiny little bridgeclimbers going about their touristy business. Expensive (and you can’t take a camera), but a pretty cool thing to do.

  • A panorama of part of the Sydney skyline at dusk / Please view large photo to appreciate panorama fully

  • / . / I had some requests of a portrait shot of my photo entitled “Luna over Luna Park”. Luckily, I had taken the shot. I’m not great at giving photos titles, hence the title for this one. This was taken on the same night of my other photos “Luna Over Luna Park”, “Luna Harbour” and “Luna PANORAMA”. The photos were taken in quite quick succession. I attempted to combine the full moon, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You might be interested in viewing the other photos because this is in Portrait, two are in Landscape, and one PANORAMA. It’s amazing how a similar subject can be photographed in slightly different ways, and produce different results. I will interested in knowing which of the four is you favourite !

  • The Sydney Harbour Bridge is not just grand; it’s amazing. It’s one of those things where, the longer you spend studying it, the more amazing little details start to jump out at you. I love the subtle fractal nature of the bridge. The large, repetitive crosses that form the two arches are themselves made up of many small crosses, and the large triangles that run up each side joining the arches are constructed from many triangles. Is it on purpose? / Or just a freak of Engineering? / Either way, it’s beautiful. Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Like this photo? Get a print of it and hang it on your wall! /

  • Be thou the rainbow in the storms of life. The evening beam that smiles the clouds away, and tints tomorrow with prophetic ray. / / Lord Byron (1788-1824)

  • A good thing to do whenever you contemplate daydreaming, is to make sure you have a camera on you.

  • The Freyberg Pool is an iconic 1960s swimming pool in Wellington, New Zealand. It is located by the Oriental Bay yacht harbour.

  • I was seldom able to see an opportunity until it had ceased to be one. Mark Twain (1835 –1910)
